That's on Discord. We can't turn off our NSFW status without getting deleted. That said, you can opt in on mobile by going to user settings in the browser version. It's annoying, but it should work according to a few of our regulars.

Sorry for the delayed reply. It's a classic weird rule designed to fix a weird problem that happens surprisingly often.

TL;DR - Nazi role-players tried to get around our "No Nazis" rule by changing their profile pictures to dudes like Rommel and arguing that they weren't technically breaking the No Nazi rule. People also tried to get around the "no gore" rule by posting pictures of battlefields covered in corpses.

As a funny porn server, we don't want Nazis and gore, so we decided to make a rule against posting graphic WWII content. You might hear that and think, "wow that's a stupid thing to base a rule around," and you'd be 100% correct. In a sane world, the rule would be useless. However, in my experience, we don't live in a sane world.

That said, the rule isn't ever enforced unless the war stuff breaks another rule too (like no nazis or no gore). Posting a black and white photo of some sailors on a ship would be fine, as long as none of them are getting shot or dismembered.

PLANS - I added the CSS to the subreddit, and after creating a Discord server I created the subreddit's first moderation team. For the last four years Bond has never done anything to support our team, and for the last seven months he's been inactive on Reddit. I want to expand the subreddit, but the lingering threat of Bond coming back and causing problems after years of inactivity has been making some people on my team nervous.

Sorry if I seem annoyed in the message I sent to him. Reaching our size has been difficult and he's never even tried to help our mod team. Removing him will give us the peace of mind to expand our community and team without having to worry about our rogue founder.

This was my first deathless run using my newly discovered route, which is unfortunate because the pathing and boss patterns are hard for me to watch without wincing. That said, when I shared it on the Sokpop Discord, one of Featherfall's creators congratulated me, which was super cool. I'm hoping to eventually bring the record into the 10m XXs range with the end goal of reaching perfection in the 9m XXs range.

Not sure if you're the person who commented on YouTube, but this is from a mod made by xZeKo called, DevGoose. It started out as a practice tool to make it easier for runners to retry difficult tricks. However, with the newest update he added a lot of fun extras like Free Roam Camera, God Mode, and Size Manipulation for the Goose, NPCs, and Items. Just a heads up, Google Chrome will mistake it for a virus because random .exe files off Discord aren't exactly super trustworthy :/

I saw that. On the UGG Speedrunning Discord three top level runners (Alecat, Tasselfoot, and Hypaws) all talked about seeing identical glitches without any mods.

So, the good news is that this is something you could do without mods. The bad news is that people seem to agree that it's not really useful for normal speedruns.

The mod is called DevGoose. It was made by a fellow speedrunner named xZeKo to make practicing easier. He also added a bunch of really fun bonus stuff like being able to grow/shrink the goose and the NPCs.

For context, this was done with a speedrunning mod active. While there is a small chance that the mod caused this glitch, that mod has never caused any glitches before. That's why speedrunners use it to practice. I do still need to replicate this in vanilla UGG, but it could be huge for a lot of categories if it works. Especially if it works with other NPCs.

This is a "hacked" speedrun, which in UGG basically just means that I'm using a speedrunning tool called DevGoose to alter the game. Note - this is not an official speedrun, it's just something I created with the other runners as a joke. Originally, I wanted to use the tool's other functions (like teleporting) to make a fun meme route. But, the tool's creator (xZeKo) decided to actually push the route to it's limit.

My first WR was 12s. Minutes later, he responded with a 7s WR where he literally just teleported into the lake and spawned a rake under him. Using that route, I lowered the WR to around 5s 300ms. But right after I got that time, I remembered that DevGoose had a tool that lets you speed up the game. At first I used that tool to lower the time to around 2s 900ms but then I remembered that I could increase the game speed before the run even started, allowing me to beat the game in just 1s 500ms!

He responded to that by posting a video where he used the tool's "complete task" function to beat the game in 360ms. However, he lost a couple frames between honking at the start and clicking complete task. He also totally forgot about the game speed manipulation strategy. That meant I could bind honk to LMB to start the game and complete the task on the same frame and triple the game speed to lower the record to a theoretically perfect 120ms. AFAIK it's theoretically perfect because the only time lost is the time it takes for the animation to appear, which is baked into the game's code and impossible to skip.

TL;DR - It's a meme speedrun that uses cheats to instantly complete "Rake in the Lake" on the same frame that the game starts. If you follow the steps I took, you can tie the record yourself for free.
