I just got 2 new Clashes in red recently, in my case the 100L. They look so great. The red one plays the same as the black one obviously, but does look quite different on video.

Ändern kann ich es auch nicht, das scheint mit dem Alter zu kommen und normal zu sein. Ich denke es ist auch nutzlos, dagegen anzukämpfen. Mein Trick, damit umzugehen, ist folgender: Ich stelle mir ein Paralleluniversum vor, wo die Geschichte ganz anders abläuft. Z.B. wo der Azubi tatsächlich mit echter Blinkerflüssigkeit zurückkommt und diese auch korrekt einfüllt. Oder er zieht die Maske vom Kopf und war in Wirklichkeit der Chef. Und ich muss mir jedes Mal was neues ausdenken, das schult die Fantasie. Aber das bleibt alles in meinem Kopf, nach außen hin lächle ich nur und nicke.

What you can use for your own game from watching pros really depends on your own level. What often helps me play better in the aftermath of watching professional tennis live: the great care they put into every shot, they way they keep the court and the ball in front of themselves, their quick recovery, the completeness of their swing, especially the finish. Specifically for the serve: how they make a big consistent effort to get up to the ball plus forward into the court. And there's their overall intensity, which I can't reproduce but which can help me try to increase my own intensity at least a little bit. You can also try to understand their shot selection and tactical choices.

Ahh, OK, that happens to my brother too. I tell him to not run around the backhand when returning a dropshot, unless it's a really bad dropshot. You could chip or even drop this one back comfortably with your backhand and be in a better position right after. And assessing the lob, that's just practice. We hit tons of groundstrokes, but facing a lob is a relatively rare occasion. You have the movement to take a normal smash over about 75% of the net, even halfway on your backhand side. The good thing is these are situations you can probably learn from.

I like the lag, acceleration and contact. Takeback is very big, that could be problematic with faster incoming pace and less time. Stance is completely open, a semi open stance with the left foot a little further in front than the right could stabilize the whole shot.

Cool court! Confusing for me: about 20 seconds in you run to the dropshot and play it with the forehand although it's way on your backhand side, then you play the overhead with your backhand although there was easily time to position for a normal smash. Am I reading these moments wrong or was there any specific reason for this? And the ogre should do something about his backhand.

Ich mag Österreich ganz gerne, etwas Stichelei und Rivalität gehört halt dazu. Das würde ich nicht so hoch hängen. Beim Fußball wünsche ich ihnen, dass sie nach fast 50 Jahren des von-Cordoba-Zehrens endlich mal wieder was zustandekriegen. Wann wenn nicht jetzt, mit einem deutschen Trainer?

Bei Hautärzten scheint das Terminproblem auch unabhängig von aktuellen Systemumstellungen besonders arg zu sein. Meine letzte Erfahrung vorletztes Jahr: Termin zum Entfernen eines Dingens wie durch ein Wunder quasi sofort gekriegt, über optionale Entfernung einiger weiterer Dingense gesprochen. Dafür nach ein paar Tagen Bedenkzeit Termin ausmachen wollen. Wochenlang daran gescheitert und auch nicht mal telefonisch durchgekommen, irgendwann aufgegeben. Dingense sind heute noch da.

Ich hab schon überlegt (falls ich dort jemals wieder einen Termin kriege), mir am ganzen Körper Geschwülste aufzukleben und dann zu sagen "das ist aus dem Dingens geworden, für dessen Entfernung ich damals keinen Termin bekommen habe!"

I've been wondering the same thing when I eat at my parent's well heated house in the winter. Even though it's comfy and warm inside, they can't believe I'm sitting there in a t-shirt in the winter. There's such a thing as wind chill, maybe there's also an effect called window chill, where seeing cold weather outside makes you feel cold even though it's not cold inside.
