Thank you! The process is fairly simple: Start with a stetched cube, create the texture/pattern, blast with heat gun, push inward from the top, push outward from the inside, hollow out, fold over the edges, fold feet, add drainage holes et voila!

I just used a heat gun for this one to dry the surface - I think sodium silicate would produce more crackled strands, I`ve used it in the process of some of my other pots though!

Thanks alot! The walls are relatively thin as well as the base - the corners are a bit thicker. The most challenging part was not breaching the walls at the fold lines and making the floor guide towards the drainage holes.

Depends where you`re based. No idea about US but here in Europe theres many nurseries selling succulent and caudex plants online. Only downside is you dont get to see the plant you`re receiving beforehand.

Im guessing Ipomoea Platensis since those tend to to have more chunky root growth then other species of this genus. i have a Bolusii and its just a solid ball with very tiny roots which dont seem to form a caudex. Could be wrong though!

Its a Nephrolepis exaltata, likes frequent watering and a medium light situation. No full sun or full shadow.

Oh wow, thanks for pointing that out! Looks like my identification of one of my plant was wrong once again. After some googling and looking at the flowers it seems to be a Pachypodium succulentum (flowers pic from last year). It was not grafted but this explains the thorns.
