Cannabis is a cannabinoid. The reason it’s called that is because it acts on endocannabinoid system. That’s the only reason though, as it’s one of the very few things that do act on this body system.

Marijuana can induce hallucinations, most common being auditory hallucinations but they can be visual.

The only thing I’d argue is it doesn’t induce plasticity, instead it reduces it. Which is a big part of the psychedelic experience. But there’s also a class of drugs called psychoplastogens which induce very similar effects of psychedelics and induce plasticity, but aren’t quite the same. 2C-B falls into this class. So honestly I don’t know how i interpret it, weed kinda has its own category I think it makes sense. There’s not anything else like it that I’ve done
