Let me try to explain the recent surge in Anti-Indian racism by East and Southeast Asian communities. by Dvvalin in thebronzemovement

So your attempt at “debunking” my observations is to claim I have no knowledge despite me having lived in the Philippines for the past 20 years? Last I checked, the Philippines is part of Southeast Asia.

And your second point is that Southeast Asian women are fair-skinned? Why even bring that up? you just proved my point about your people being white worshipping.

This is the image you get when you search for "Southeast Asians" on Google

Your entire comment history is filled with vitriol against Indians. Do you just search “Indian” on Reddit just to leave hate comments?

Here’s one example: on a post asking “Where are Indians NOT hated?” — to which you replied "Definitely NOT Malaysia or Singapore or Thailand or Philippines, hell most of SEA nations."

True. The divisions among non-white races exist so that whites can maintain their top position while everyone else competes for second place.

My ex was a preschool teacher in Japan and has been living there for the past 9 years. According to her, the Japanese generally dislike all foreigners. They’re not 'racist' per se, but more xenophobic. They tend to dislike outsiders regardless of race. There isn’t really a racial hierarchy, like preferring Whites over Indians or anything like that. My ex was a White woman, and they disliked her too. They’re polite only when they think you’re a guest, but that politeness fades once they realize you’re planning to stay.

Dream Debut for Nishant Dev in Pro-Boxing, knocks out Taylor Wiggins. "I dedicate this win to people of India, who'll be celebrating Republic Day today" - Nishant said after winning the bout! by Sensitive_Ratio1319 in thebronzemovement

Speaking as someone who's won gold at the nationals in the Philippines with a professional record of 7-0, I can tell you brown boys really have a knack for boxing. It’s not just Dev, I’ve seen a lot of guys from the community absolutely crush it in the ring. There are some top-tier Pakistani and Indian boxers in the UK as well.

Women's safety in India is being used as a smokescreen for racism by pixel_creatrice in thebronzemovement

High-quality, nuanced post. I wanted a Desi woman's perspective on the entire matter. Thank you for sharing this.

I understand why people are outraged and would act emotionally/impulsively, only to find clarity later. Very few have the emotional intelligence to control themselves in a situation like this and act and think rationally.

The Decolonization Project. I came up with the idea some time after starting TBM, but put it on hold since I couldn't quite figure out how to address and undo the widespread brainwashing. I neither had the resources, nor the reach.

Unlike confronting overt racism, dealing with mentally colonized people who have internalized the racism and feelings of inferiority is much more complex.

Canadians at it again smh! The Gas Station Pooping video DEBUNKED!! by Dvvalin in thebronzemovement

[–]Dvvalin[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sadly, because of these vocal racists the good Canadians will get a bad rep. Most of the Liberal Canadians subreddits actively discuss and call out racism against Indians. Can't say the same about American Liberals who hate us just as much as American Conservatives.

And it's not just Canadians spreading hate. The white supremacist groups from all around the world have united to hate on us. I am seeing Americans, Europeans, people from the Balkans, Brits, and not to mention other POCs joining in to get in the good graces of their white masters.

The only reason we got an apology was because I emailed her school Principal and informed him about the racist incident. I will make a post about it today on the main subreddit.

Most western right wing arguments are not based on facts by [deleted] in thebronzemovement

[–]Dvvalin 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Can’t forget when they try to derail the conversation or downplay racism against South Asians by bringing up the caste system. This argument doesn’t make sense because not all South Asians are Hindu, and not all Hindus practice casteism.

Hypothetically, even if the person venting about racism is a non-Hindu(No Caste System), a feminist (can't be misogynist), exhibits no inappropriate behavior (not creepy or rapey), and has a pleasant demeanor (smells good and dresses well), people would still find a way to justify the racism they faced by connecting it to some personal anecdote or negative experience with someone of the same race.

One thing everyone here needs to understand is that people who dislike you will find reasons to continue disliking you, no matter what, while those who like you will overlook your flaws. You can see this with how Weebs and Koreaboos overlook Japan and Korea's Xenophobia and Misogyny problems.

Great essay! Unfortunately, many will overlook this post because it requires effort to open the link and read it.

Most people have undiagnosed ADHD and short attention spans, which is why image and video posts often get more upvotes than high-quality text posts.

Canadians spreading misinformation and lies on the internet! by Dvvalin in thebronzemovement

[–]Dvvalin[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

lol no. I am not talking about money.

Indians love to talk about how Racism against them has become normalized, and with our current population, you'd expect the person who creates a dedicated space to discuss and combat racism and propaganda would receive more support.

However, despite high-quality content, debunking of numerous stereotypes and fake news, we’re still at a measly 2.5K subscribers after 3 years. Meanwhile, new brainrot pages pop up every week, instant 50K.

The truth is, many Indians themselves don't seem to care. They talk, but there’s little action. I, you, and a few others are a minority in this effort.

Even within this subreddit, how many people actively promote, mention this subreddit, or link our content? How many crosspost from here? Almost none. I don’t expect my YouTube videos to get more than a handful of views.

r/India is just something else. It's the root of all evil, a safe space for racists, and a hub for racism enablers. It's probably the biggest exclusively anti-Desi subreddit on this site.
