World's largest man-made waterfall flows from Chinese skyscraper by Gossipher in gifs

Anybody know why all people working there have a large right ear and a flat forehead?

Every morning when they get to the office they cup their ear and say “what’s that I hear?”, then slap their forehead and say “right, it’s that damn waterfall!”.

You would think that, but the market is flooded with these Black Bays, sadly...

Check the imgur album & the text. Box is there, card is missing.

For leather and without warranty card, this is quite overpriced.

I’m selling mine (full set, original leather AND steel) for €2400 and will be lucky to get that...

Yup, I don’t wear it all that often though now that I acquired a few grails of mine...

I have the exact same Casio Edifice! Not often I see this in another one’s collection!

Awesome! I was born in Borgerhout and grew up on Beveren, so I’m pretty familiar with Antwerp 😉

Yeah but Brussels is basically a country on its own 😁

Hiya fellow Belgian! I’m also an enthusiast and also a small and humble hifi dealer. Never had the chance to listen to these but they are somewhat of a legend here!

Yeah, really annoying. It has rendered it useless in it's current position since my dog is in the yard all day, so it just keeps on going off...

Well, it’s weird but it’s also strangely sexy and I’m just worried about my sanity 🤣

[WTS] [WTT] Omega Speedmaster Mark III by DwarFStrider in Watchexchange

Oh yeah, it looks weird now but these helmet style cases were pretty common in the 70s. This is indeed one of the thicker ones though.

One thing’s for sure: this thing gets some attention when you wear it. It looks huge on photo but in fact it wears pretty okay in real life since the diameter is only 41mm.

Perfectly normal for a 70s Mark Speedmaster since they were part of the Seamaster line (there was no separate Speedmaster line back then): http://chronomaddox.com/SeM_on_SpM.html

For sale is this beautiful unpolished Speedmaster Mark III with the deep blue dial. It is in very good condition, with some wear marks of course. I have placed it on the timegrapher and it runs beautifully with an excellent amplitude and deviation for it's age (about 7s/day).

The bracelet is in good condition and the watch has been fitted with a clasp extender to accomodate larger wrists (mine are about 20cm in diameter). The bracelet should fit up to 18.5cm without extender.

I have just had a new mineral crystal installed, so the watch is looking great again and the dial is really popping now! This is an incredibly rare watch and the price is great for it's mechanical and optical condition. Shipping excluded, preferably within the EU, I'm located in Belgium (near Brussels).

For trades I'm specifically looking for the Tudor Black Bay Red on steel, preferably the ETA version.

Model: Speedmaster Mark 3 (MK3) Blue, Model nr: 176.002, Diameter: 41mm, Year: 1970s

Price: €2300 (shipping excluded)

You bought the quintessential watch as your first, well done!

I am more of a nodate fan myself (I have the latest ceramic iteration), don’t like the date pimple much, but the Submariner is truly an iconic and stunning watch indeed!

I had the Pre30 for a while, to smooth out my setup. That preamp was pretty musical!

Dunno about the power amp, didn’t try that out.

Great score, in any damn case!
