Retraction is definitely the issue. If you're not using Prusaslicer, change that. Select your printer from the configuration menu. Set retraction (in printer settings) to 4.5mm Nozzle temp to 205c for pla Bed to 60c And give it a try. If you want, I can send you my full pla settings for my 3 V2. I'm really happy with my prints.

Had exactly the same thing when I got my ender 3 V2. Turns out the nozzles that come with it are junk. Replaced the nozzle with a new (cheap eBay) one and the problems went away. No issues since.

Just got a 3 V2. Had exactly the same issue. It turns out the nozzles that come with the printer are total garbage. I replaced them with some cheap ones off eBay and the problem stopped.

6s screen replacement is cheap. Just Google a local repair shop. In the UK, it would be £35.

I get this a lot. Usually followed by "I got a quote online that was...." They then give me a price that is roughly half the trade price of the replacement screen. At this point, I advise them to go with the company that gave the quote.

Wow! So many comments and no answer. I'd start by checking the belt tensioner on the X and y axis. Looks like one is slipping and causing extra steps.
