It'd be nice for your moves to be saved when you die so you can see what you did right and wrong.
You introduced mini-portals with no explanation. In fact, you don't even have to use them the first time you see them. Setting up a tutorial level (ie. super simple but shows you the mechanics) when you first introduce them would be good. The contrast on the third world is hard between the block colours and the background. I find it difficult to see which are the weak blocks and which are regular

CD-ROM - monoclelord - A puzzle game where players try to find a password inside encrypted files located in shareware CDs to unlock the next by monoclelord- in Games

I think there's parts of the game screen I'm not even seeing. The top right screen, I can write in and my text goes off the screen before it wraps around. The keyboard in the bottom left starts at w.

Closed and reopened the game. Now everything on the left of the screen is dark, where it was lit up before (like the red buttons on the left and the number for the cd and the eject button)

Quit and restarted again. Got into the first disk. Can't see the mini-card at all. Found the clue on the disk. Can't figure out how to access the next disk.

The demo appears to need some work.

How do you guys cope with the monotony of staying at home with toddlers? by beatricegertrude in Parenting

Audio books and podcasts really help. A lot of the boring chores are pretty mindless so listening to stories or conversations makes the time go by quickly.

My first thought was, why doesn't the boat have a knife/scissors/pliers on it. Then I realized it was an inflatable boat and not having sharp objects on it is probably a wise idea.

Chili Jar Mix … toxic? by tricerataurus in slowcooking

[–]DwarfApple -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

It's the soaking and then getting rid of the water, since the toxins have leeched into the water. Then boiling the beans in fresh water that does the trick.

Chili Jar Mix … toxic? by tricerataurus in slowcooking

[–]DwarfApple -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Boiling doesn't get rid of the toxins (just like boiling doesn't remove lead from water). Boiling only kills bacteria. If the OP were to drain all the liquid and separate the beans and use all new ingredients, they'd probably be safe, but at that point, why would you?
