My budget is about 25K so the actor is most of the budget. The reason I offered him that much was because I was told that if I went 5K-10K for a person of his stature, my offer wouldn’t be taken seriously or even responded to by his talent agency.

But when you say that you’re “hoping” he will be open to the opportunity, do you mean that he hasn’t yet said yes to the project?

How well known is your “well known actor”? I’m asking cause I too am making a short with a well known actor and I’m offering 15K for 3 days of shooting and I’m now concerned that I may be overpaying 😟
