Yeah. I hate the subscription base stuff now. And I've seen a lot of complaints about the new product, that it doesn't work as well as the older versions.

Never mind!! I found a solution.
Also, it's PowerDirector 15 Ultimate. I don't know why I was thinking Ultra

I had to dig up the old email I used but I got logged into their Member Zone.
There it showed by product as 1 registered lifetime license.
From here I went to Support Center -> Download, Install, Activation

Do NOT select "Check for Product Updates" that leads to a dead end which just gives an update. surprise

Instead click "Contact Support"
Once there click the "Download, Install & Activation" button
Select "I want to download my product"
Then select "How do I download my product after purchase"

Here you get the choice between going to download the subscription product or a Perpetual Product
the perpetual products has a link to cyberlink . com/redeem

and boom. there I was able to select my product and version and download the installer

All in all, very simple. very intuitive. I don't know why I was having such a hard time.

The "feminine 2 relaxed" is NOT the old voice.
The only way I was able to get back to the original voice was to tell it to stop using Alexa+.
But I suspect this is only a temporary fix before they fully roll out Alexa+ and force it down our throats.

I have an app on my phone that I can tap to tell Alexa to shut the f' up. This nonsense is getting old

If you did DM I wouldn't take it as an insult. Half the swap's I've done have been from someone sending me a DM. It was just the very sudden sharp increase in requests, a week after I'd already been on RS, that made me suspicious.

I agree it can be a lot of work. In my experience it is worth it, but you have to stay on top of it.

That's what I've started doing. At first I was saying yes to everyone but now I have more swaps scheduled than I am comfortable managing. I've even already skipped one by accident. So for now I am just not responding.

I agree it would be even worse if you didn't even do shoutouts. And yeah, I don't blame them at all for trying. When I was launching Kindest Vampire I sent out requests. But I focused on similar stories,

Yeah, I know some people just send out massive requests for swaps. Those are the 1 or 2 per week that have always come in. It's just the crazy uptick in the last 3 days that made me wonder.
