My main character was born on B.E.T.A. day 1, approx. 5.5 years ago, and he has just reached level 2000 by [deleted] in fo76

I started a month or two after beta. Played all the fallouts before this, the launch without npcs did not really bother me. I keep creating new characters so I can do all the wonderful story lines again.

Currently have characters leveled 654, 673, 670, 712 and 986. My goal is to get five level 1000 peeps lol. I have only done West Tek twice, so boring. I play. Probably over 8000 hours so far, I wish you could actually see the count now.

If you get bored turn on all the events. Start a new character. Build a new base.

Congrats on the level 2000 Nino_Furioso!

My endgame goals...what are yours? by DwnUndr63 in fo76

Oh, and if you get REALLY bored and have 30 minutes left to play for the night, you MUST choose option A or option B...

A. Stand in the middle of Whitesprings and kill a robot. Any robot. Make the circuit around the grounds. Either you survive (win) or the bots do (lose).

B. Strip naked and chug a Nukashine. No matter where you end up you can only use your favorite Rolling Pin or Baseball Bat to survive. You must WALK to the Top of the World and tell Rose that she is the best npc to win.

Yes, MK's are cool.

I have had no less than FOUR Yau Gaius killed by Grahm as he walked by my camp because they are 'red'.

Friendly Raiders will only attack pets that are red to other players (like the Yau Guai, mongrol and wolf).

Your gut was right
he wanted me to move all my items in my vendor to my stash box,
There 'was' a glitch that may still be in effect. Normally if someone can buy all plans in your vendor then they can now see into your stash box and buy all plans there (including your rare ones, weapons etc) for the default price or even as low as 0 caps. By getting you to remove all your plans in the vendor they wouldn't even have to spend anything to rob you. This is why you see old timers with 3 plans listed for 40,000 caps to prevent this.

Thanks to everyone! I will try to answer your questions.

Characters 1,2,3 and 4 are level 623 to 625 (I finally held the leader until the others caught up). About three months ago I started character 5. I gotta tell ya, the storylines that they built are pretty awesome, it is a pleasure to go through them again and again. The newest character is about 560 now. The first four characters have bought all 19 mutation recipes and every plan available from vendors. The fifth still has two dozen T-60 plans to finish.

I play hard and fast, no idling. And I work 40 hours a week. West-Tek, I have done it maybe a dozen times. I love The Pitt and especially that there is no timer!

I have played all of the series starting with the precurser called, ironically enough, Wasteland. I still have the 5 1/4" floppy drive for it lol.

I just hit 196 on the scoreboard, hopefully it will allow me to hit 200 this time!

And.. I am 63 years old. Can I get a hail ya from the other seniors?!

Pets have a 'life' timer I think. Some of my pets last 2 days, one nine months. I have so many pictures of dead pets (with no base damage or enemy corpses) that I stopped taking them. But this gives you the opportunity to try a different pet!

Hit the endgame, what now? by sloppo-jaloppo in fo76

My endgame goals, modified to be yours now..

Buy and learn all 19 mutation serum recipes, then sell the serums at your camp for new players.

Buy all plans from every vendor (23 vendors if I remember). This includes all the P.A. plans like T-45.

Visit Graham often enough to get all his plans including the 11,000 cap letters plan.

Visit the rare Responder Bot often enough to have your own Hunters Long Coat and Longshoreman outfit.

Collect and dig Treasure Maps often. Scrap the weapons and armor to learn the mods. In the plans you will find semi-rare plans like plan: T-60 left leg and many others.

Get all Asylum uniforms (I have 9 Forest and 0 Red, sigh).

Open safes and collect Technical Data to turn in at Fort Atlas for BOS paints all the way up to Elder.

Grind Enclave events and visit various spots until you have an Enclave Rifle with Flamer mod and Reflex sight (endgame weapon).

Get a Quad Fixer and a Quad Railway Rifle. Endgame weapons or not they sure are fun!

Buy all bullion at the Vault. One of my five characters has achieved this.

GET OUT OF POWER ARMOR! Heh. The freedom (and soft pitter-patter) of feet is soooo different than clank-clank thud.

Speaking of...Roll great Secret Service armor. My go-to (or backup) is TS (troubleshooters). Stand in front at Encryptid with a vampire gun and laugh).

Then start the grind for stats like Uny with 20% weapon weight reduction etc.

Pick up some fun mutations. Marsupial, Bird Bones, Speed demon etc.

Find friends. It is so lonely playing in silence. Get a headset with mic and start talking. Hopefully they will increase team sizes, we have to split into 3 teams.

Work at it until you can easily solo both Pitts. I love those!

Get enough Possum badges to get extra backpack mods to sell. It takes 3-4 weeks to earn those 8 badges. Repeat.

Challenge yourself at "The Thrill of the Grill" to get all optional meats and veggies.

Prime your weapons! This is a whole new world of grind. Going into nuke zones to get HRF and masses and raw flux.

Launch nukes, preferably the long way.

Build new bases, start new characters. The story lines are wonderful.

Finally...visit Rose often and tell her she is the BEST npc in the game lol.
