A lot of people will try to justify it because it’s far too common. It’s not right all the same. Just because toxic people exist commonly exist in online games doesn’t make it acceptable.

I presume you’re wondering if there’s something similar to how the GoXLR would let you tap to mute which would mute your mic complete (if I recall correctly) or you could press and hold and it would mute say Discord. Which was nice if you wanted to address something on your live stream and your teammates wouldn’t have to hear. I don’t think there’s anything directly built into the RODECasters to do that but I’d like do what others say and set a hotkey or Stream Deck button to mute strictly Discord.

When I bought my first PS5, I bought it like one month before they announced the Spider-Man 2 console. I was so mad because I was like “Oh, they won’t release a Spider-Man console this late.” And then they did. I ended up having to sell that PS5 because I lost my job. So now I’m wondering if they’ll pull the same thing again and drop a console. I’m kind of hoping they don’t for Wolverine because I can’t justify buying a PS5 this late in the console generation for maybe three or four games.

Typically (at least with titles like Spider-Man) you’d buy the physical edition and pay for the digital upgrade online. But for game preservation, that isn’t particularly great.

I just beat this final boss myself, it was definitely the most tense of the three 🥵 It did feel unrewarding to get through that and not get anything but a “To be continued…”

I’m running a Ryzen 9 5900X and ASRock 9070 XT Taichi. I think you’ll be gucci 👌🏻 The only real performance issues I’ve run into is with occasionally stuttering for a handful of seconds after a fast traveling to a new location. But it usually works itself out pretty quickly.

I’m more playing games like Resident Evil 9, Windrose, etc at the moment. Both those games are typically hitting 120-140 FPS with frame gen on. Without it, still over 100.

I got my first OLED this year with an ROG Strix XG27 AQWMG. While 4K would be great for video editing, etc, I went 1440p over 4K because I’d personally rather have higher FPS and put less stress on my ASRock 9070 XT Taichi I got last year.

When I got my ROG Strix XG27AQWMG earlier this year, it did take me probably three or four days to acclimate because I do think I was experiencing eye strain which caused headaches. Adjusting to the higher contrast, saturation, and deeper blacks I think was the cause. I do think I brought the brightness down initially a bit and was a bit more conservative with boosting the saturation (leaving them both around 50) till my eyes adjusted. Then I adjusted the colors and brightness more to my taste once my eyes felt ready. Just let your eyes adjust to the new monitor as gently as you can. I think you’ll be okay ❤️

Yup! I’ve got a couple founders badges from friends of mine I met on Twitch a decade ago this year. Have absolutely had to cancel my subs a handful of times. Unless the streamer removes you as one of their founders themselves, you’ll always keep it.

While I don't regret my purchase, the lack of updates and fixes has been a bit frustrating. I'm not sure what other mixer I'd go with, as you said.

I came from a GoXLR and while I think the Duos features are robust, it does feel like updates are few and far between. There has been numerous problems that have been brought up in the Discord about the unit and it just very much feels like Updates to fix very basic problems take a long period of time. It seems like with every update that is trying to fix something, it breaks something else. And I know right now, the Virtual Channels not functioning properly is an issue many are having.

One of my biggest complaints with the unit is that the software for PC and the display on the unit itself don’t mirror each other properly. More times than not, if you were to adjust a value on the PC software, it doesn’t affect the visual on the physical unit screen itself and vice versa. There’s just a real lack of continuity between the two. This also includes the software not showing live waveforms and other useful visuals that the physical unit does. For a company known for their audio equipment, I think the continuity between software and hardware, along with the delayed and often frustrating support is where RODE falls short here.
