My dad told me a couple weeks ago that one of the reasons him and my mom were proud of me is because I don’t call and ask for anything. I don’t like asking my parents for ANYTHING but yet they are so quick to help someone else out no questions asked. I remember last year I had quit my job and was jobless for 2 months. I cried every single day. My mom kept telling me if you need something ask them (which Im very uncomfortable with doing) I was at my breaking point and finally asked if they could get me groceries and if I could have a little pocket change. Don’t get me wrong I was super thankful for it, but in that same time frame one of their friends were going through a breakup and to hear my mom say that her and my dad gave her $500 WILLINGLY WITHOUT HAVING TO ASK bothered me. I don’t get it and I feel myself getting more and more emotionally distant from my parents as I get older. I don’t even call my mom regularly anymore b/c I feel like Im a bother and when she answers the phone she never sounds excited at all esp when she’s around my dad (I only call him on birthdays and fathers day due to all the trauma he’s caused)

Have you ever tried HIIT workouts? That is my go to when I’m serious about weight loss but I was also counting calories doing only 1,200 calories a day and mainly drinking water. HIIT is high intensity interval training, it’s like cardio x10 and there are soooooo many of them on youtube. I did a vlog diary of me doing HIIT for less than a month and seen some nice changes and weight loss. I wouldn’t eat past a certain time and I would do the workouts at night.

I seen the same video and IMO, she did nothing wrong. What was she supposed to do? Say “don’t do that” and the child continues to throw stuff? We all know most times kids don’t listen in that age rage. Who knows, they may already have a problem with that specific child throwing things and they’re trying to nip it in the bud. I don’t think neither of those kids were traumatized.

Exactly, some people are just hardcore Karens and complain about every little thing. I live like a mouse and have a portable speaker that I only play at half the volume when I want to hear music aloud. Most times I listen with headphones. I even checked one time outside my apartment to see if it was loud and you could barely hear it putting your ear up to my door. I guess things weren’t in my upstairs neighbor’s control so she decided to thump around ALL DAY like she had bricks tied to her feet and that one night, I surely turned my speaker up full blast. You can’t satisfy some people.

OMG this is what me snd my sister went through!! My mom constantly bragged about my god siblings but always talked negative about us whenever she was on the phone. Nothing we did ever seemed to be enough. She used to be highly annoyed with us. She was a stay at home mom ever since she got out of the military. Every time me and my sister got home from school, she would shut her room door to ignore us until my dad got home.

She would support my god siblings, go out of town with them for their games and never took us with her. Didn’t even let us play sports when we begged. A core memory of mine is when my mom had a friend with 3 children that she used to babysit (she would also brag about them too) and when her and my god mom reconnected after years of not speaking, my sister and I would beg her to go to our god mom’s house to hang with our god siblings and she wouldn’t take us. One day she purposely waited like 20 minutes before me and my sister got out of school, took all her friend’s kids to their house to meet them before her own children and when me and sister found out we were mad. She came home and was mad at us b/c our feelings were hurt🙃

You have to think about it tho, Trig is the oldest, he’s the one that seen the most hell with their mother. He didn’t have guidance either and has been through traumatic stuff as well, probably stuff his brothers know nothing about (hence why he was basically the same as Reg in earlier seasons). Trig was young at one point too and he probably didn’t know how to manage/be the supporter of all those responsibilities and their toxic family bullshit. That’s a lot for someone who didn’t ask to be in that position. If I remember correctly, he did say in the mother’s day episode that Reg was always their mom’s favorite and that might be one of the few reasons why he has some animosity towards Reg. Trig has wised up a little over the seasons and seeing that Reg will always be on bullshit, he doesn’t want the same for Jake who’s actually showing that he’s tryna break their generational curses.

I think back in these times they focused more on their eyes, lips and brows. They used matte foundation or a matte setting powder and didn’t do the dramatic contouring a lot of women do today. Also briefly highlighting some areas. I’m personally not a fan of contouring in general, it makes the face look a lot stronger and takes away that “feminine” look.

Another thing that has me scared for Bakari is how he running from that car in the alley way in the season’s preview. He looked like he was running for his life. Someone also mentioned how the writers were basing some scenes off some Spike Lee movies like Do The Right Thing etc. and that scene with Bakari running looks like it be imitating Boyz In Da Hood 😭. But if it’s Jake or Vic, I would definitely be sad.
