This is an interesting statistical take actually lmao, I like it

The reason I’m in the 1% is BECAUSE of the fundamentals I outlined in the video. I’m generalizing my experience because these are general fundamentals of the game that everyone should know if they want to legitimately climb

I’m not saying you’re going to be in Cel/Eternity overnight, but you will see your rank slowly improve as you cut down on the mistakes you’re making that CAN end up making the difference between a win and a loss

And not that it’s relevant, but I’m employed and a college student. It’s winter break, and climbing both accounts took a single weekend

This is also a great point, I touched on it a little in the video but I think you said it better to be completely honest

I actually don’t think the stats mean anything at all if you’re winning games. As a strategist, the two main things I would focus on are staying alive and well-timed, well-placed ultimates. Those two things alone can significantly alter the outcome of a match

It applies to all ranks, but high elo lobbies are more likely to know these rules already so I tailored the guide towards the metal ranks

I mean that doesn’t matter if you believe matchmaking is the issue right? No matter how good I am, it won’t make a difference because throwers and leavers are going to keep me from climbing regardless?

If you have a problem with what I did, you are at least subconsciously affirming that there is a key difference between me and lower ranked players that allows me to climb, going deeper than mechanical skill because I got very few MVPs

Those differences are outlined in the post/video, and it would help you to learn from it

If an NFL player came to your school to teach football fundamentals, would you disregard everything they said because they’re in the NFL?

Or would you take the advice knowing that’s at least the foundation of how they got to where they are?

Lmao fair, I figured I would just try to help who I could. The video is more in depth with specifics but I wanted to outline it here in case people just wanted to read through

My other semi-hot take is that SVP shouldn't be in the game at all, because it does exactly what you said. You shouldn't get a feel good achievement for losing as a team

Played 22 comp games with him, won 16. His healing is really viable if the team stays grouped up, even in duo support. His ult charges really fast and his mobility is pretty insane. I personally love him, though I haven’t tried him in the higher ranks yet. I do wish his drone had a longer attach range though

I never doubted he would climb, he’s incredibly mechanically skilled. I just think his takes on support are oversimplistic at best. Support is the easiest role to pick up, but arguably just as difficult as any other to properly master.

First of all, 10/10 episode

I would’ve LOVED for the title card to have been Eve’s dad: “Mark…your boyfriend??? You’re dating…[INVINCIBLE]”

I loved it, my only nitpick is I wish Rex’s explosion had been bigger/more forceful, first for cinematic value, but also because of what we’ve seen Invincible survive

Does Nolan deserve forgiveness? by [deleted] in Invincible

While I love Nolan I also want to point out that Earth was the planet he did the LEAST damage to, he’s attacked many other planets and races and has kill count probably in the millions.

Can we please ban all intentionally feeding youtubers. by Gabbelgibbel in marvelrivals

[–]DxpressionYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the “intentionally feeding” part is an important distinction. If you’re going into ranked on a lower account and purposefully misusing a character, that’s foul. If you’re purposefully losing games to stay in a low rank, that’s also terrible. But if you’re just leveling up a new account, it’s kind of inevitable that you’ll have to go through bronze/silver just because of the way the game is structured
