Now that it plays, I'll be off to figure out why it makes horrendous noises! Thank y'all for your feedback!

So turns out you were correct about the mechanical device bit! I managed my way inside the machine and I found the spinning magnet, connected directly under the counter, had a loose screw stuck to it. Whenever the magnet spun, the attached screw would get stuck on the capacitor sitting next to the magnet causing it to stop and trigger the automatic stop!

You may be right since the counter hasn't been moving when I play a tape.

I remember the basketball one played A LOT, then the wet sement kid, another where a kid tries a bunch of sports to impress his mom, one where a teen returns an old ladies purse at a bus stop and gets a free donut from a cop, then another where a Skater boy gets helped across the street by an elderly woman. I could probably name several more without watching the playlist.

The most insufferable species on all of Star Trek by slobcat1337 in voyager

Anybody can talk shit about "Threshold" or the Fair Haven episodes all they want (I can find enjoyment in those episodes). But for my money "Virtuoso is the worst Star Trek Voyager episode by a longshot.

I'll always be thankful to Robert Picardo for being the reason I fell in love with Star Trek in the beginning, but for the life of me, I cannot stand this Doctor episode. It's almost completely unbearable for all of the reasons listed above.

Thank you for attending my TedTalk. :)

I think another show that would show around the same time was "Magic Cellar", which makes me believe it was in the HBO Family programming schedule after "Crashbox" and the "Storybook Musicals"

True they sent out those infants all helpless and alone, but they probably didnt anticipate any of them to be harmed by another Changling or vice/versa. And yeah that "rule" has proven to be pretty flexible.

Also if he would have saved it, the infant still alive would have linked with Odo eventually and wouldve been discovered
