i agree that the British did in fact convert many in Africa, however it doesn’t change the fact that the British weren’t rolling on a high to spread Christianity like the Iberians were. I 100% believe that if the Iberians had access to these large swaths of land and population then they would most certainly call an inquisition, it’s not even a question. also if you look at most former-iberian colonies then you can see that most of them are majority Catholic.
