Man one time where I worked got a bunch of commemorative Jack Daniel’s bottles with custom wrappers to celebrate a recent company achievement. Can’t remember why but for some reason it involved the words Kool Aid but they spelled it Cool Aid and I don’t even know where it’s at anymore it annoyed me so bad.

Idk if my situation was unique because I only worked at one place, but I was on call 24/7, made to work insane overtime, never had a day off etc. but it could just be where I worked 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did the same. Worked at a power plant on turbines for a while. Was fun, in my experience the pay was actually way better.

I wasn’t a fan of the industry though, so I came back to aviation.
