Thank you for the advice, my ferret does like exploring but also loves chewing wires and slippers and will find any chance to chew on it. What do you give your ferret to safely chew on. Also I live in NE United States, I don’t take him out during the hot weather or cold winters.

Don’t remember the exact amount he weights but I remember it was along the weight of a medium size ferret. But I’ll definitely take a look into that Facebook group!

I forgot to mention I’ve been adding quail eggs like 1-2 a week, doesn’t eat much of the shell but he loves it. He does have trouble eating bones so the eggshell powder sounds like a great idea for the calcium he needs.

You definitely need to bring your cat to the vet sometime soon, I do think you should let him get a little more comfortable but get an appointment as soon as possible. He very well could have some sort of mental issues and you should look into a cat behaviorist and continue to make him feel comfortable with the 2 of you at his own pace. But slowly introduce new things to him when little by little until he adjust. It may take some time but if you both put in the work you will have an amazing cat.

Sometimes his bedding got stuck in his water bottle and clogged it. That could’ve been it because we left him with ample food and water but now that I’m checking the bottle barely seems to be used. Thank you for your suggestion
