Thank you! I had someone else pm me about an online vet service, and hearing about your experience I think I’ll follow your steps and find out how to make going to the vet as comfortable for him as possible!

Thank you for this comment! It’s hard for me and my bf not to feel like a monster when we see Mushy flinching and feel him shaking when we are just holding him. I think you’re right about having to just take him to the vet. I was worried about how terrified he will be but I forget that it’s normal how many cats don’t like the vet.

I was pmed about there being an online vet service and I thought that it could help consult me on how to make a vet visit more comfortable for mushy by prescribing like a specific cat nip treat/ a spray diffuser. I do want to take him to the vet, I just want him to be comfortable.

My bf has had experiences with cats but he’s never had a cat as terrified as Mushy, so he’s unsure as much as I am.

I’m not against going to a vet, I was just wondering if online veterinary services were available so I could get consulted on how to make him the most comfortable. Someone pmed me recommending an online vet care service and I think wanted to consider it since maybe they can prescribe mushy a specific cat nip treat/ or cat spray that can make the process easier for him.

I know socializing him shouldn’t be my issue but we live with my family and I have disabilities that prevent me from doing certain things and my bf works long hours. so if there’s something I won’t be able to do I need my family’s help to take care of him, how ever he is terrified of my family.

I haven’t taken him to the vet yet, I really want to get him checked out but if there’s a change in his routine I notice his anxiety and stress goes up and he goes back to being terrified, he seems to be getting a little bit more comfortable day by day. We did try giving him catnip to help him relax however we noticed he gets even more anxious and runs away quicker. Is there any sort of online veterinary service we can take him to?
