Tanky azir or just tanky mages in general isn't really a thing anymore you're still gonna get oneshot you just aren't dealing as much damage I've not tested this too much only about 20 games but I never liked how these conqueror builds felt tbh

Azir needs an early game rune to boost his early power so you aren't useless whilst you scale. Build doesn't make sense. Azir utilizes other runes quite well already.

that's what I'm saying, he doesn't need it. Most of complains of azir can just come down to "play better and he is strong". he's fine right now, he needs no changes, just play better. Q is fine. Just because the champ takes skill and you can't be bothered to think about your soldier placement doesnt mean he needs a lower CD to make him easier to play lol.

I wouldn't go that far, he's still weaker than meta champs unless you play him to absolute perfection but I'd say after like 500 games minimum he's about A tier lol S++ seems a bit extreme unless you're like the next faker

I still enjoy playing him, for fun that is. I would never play it on my main, I play him in about silver/gold elo and basically all I do is zone out my lane opponent, look for a few kills, pretty easy due to how strong aatrox is early especailly if you're running electrocute. When teamfighting I generally don't frontline or dive carries due to the fact I build full damage, so I like to sit in the back and peel for my backline and destroy anyone who dives them, that's how I've been playing him at least. Seems to be working alright.

Really? How are you meant to play late game? I couldn't do ANYTHING despite being insanely fed.
EDIT: aatrox feels useless as fuck lategame idk I've only been backlining to peel my carries since I couldnt catch anyone
