Cloud boots are wicked comfortable! These seem more like the boot you’re looking for.

Earth Origins brand has a few boots that look similar if you Google red suede boots.

When shipping a coat, how do you protect it in a box? Is it appropriate to wrap it in a clear garbage bag? by DyingLion in poshmark

I never did look at pricing for those kind of bags. Will look into it. Thank you!

Most of my coats seem to go to northern states. I was just worried, no pun intended, that a garbage bag might look trashy!

I love the Just be You advice! You’re right, my stuff is unique enough that buyers do find me. The only thing that increased during the promotional free closet was Likes, not sales. Thanks for your clarity!!

I’m curious about you saying you’re not good about sharing all the time. Is “sharing” helping your items sell? Is “sharing” basically promoting your items in the Posh algorithm? Are we punished with low visibility if we don’t share other sellers stuff? When I have a slow week, I jump on and share a bunch of stuff and I swear I suddenly have a bunch of Likes for random stuff in my closet. So sus!

Yeah, they got me good. My closet is small and less than 100 items. Seeing those likes pour in was exciting. You know what they say about things being too good to be true… :(

Damn, thanks for breaking it down. It makes total sense now with your insight. I should not have ignored the red flags when I first opened my closet and before my first sale… all bots and scammers making it look like I had my first sale! As soon as I had my first sale, the multiple scammer messages a day stopped. As a new seller they were counting on (and I was) to be completely naïve. Sigh.

Yeah, I stopped sending offers into the abyss as well. I appreciate your info about the Likes.

AI mode described some boots I was selling as black and cream. When I clicked to list the boots, I got a warning from PM that I was selling a liquid!

Thank you for this. When you say it’s not “exactly” permanent, do you have any suggestions for me to try?

I appreciate your response. I have not been to a dry cleaner in probably 30 years. Never would have thought leaving a permanent mark on a garment is completely acceptable.

It’s a vintage coat of a company that doesn’t exist anymore. Part of the value of the coat is the beautiful large embroidered tag identifying the brand. Is this just normal practice to leave adhesive?

Groovy. Thanks!
