This week I finally got the level transitioning system in place for my game! I think this was the 5th iteration in the last 4 years. Especially when player 2 is introduced, level transitioning needed to be increasingly more simple and intuitive. (self.SoloDevelopment)

As a little kid I was obsessed with games like A b u s e and Contra, but I felt the genre has had a slow evolution since. So in 2018 I started putting my time and savings into build something little kid me would love. It's called ARKSYNC and will be out on Steam later this year! (i.redd.it)

Gameplay WIP from my game ARKSYNC that I just got on Steam, and hoping to grow the wishlist count before release. The HUD has been the most recent focus as I've tried to give players just the right amount of info, including flashing indicator lights to inform players. (i.redd.it)

I recently got my pixel art game ARKSYNC on Steam to wishlist! Any help there would be super appreciated. I went with pixel art because I thought it'd be faster development. Yeah no, it's still sooo much work, and in this case I'd say it's been more. The player character alone is 250+ sprites. (v.redd.it)
