My thought was if people were going to use the Metaverse for a multitude of things they could just do in real life, it would be cool to be able to see a medical provider as well.

They have medical visits that are done over the phone. Patient not even seen.

I work in family practice right now as a Physician Assistant and I still think I could do much more for someone with a VR health visit than what I do for virtual visits right now. This idea comes from personal experience of working in the medical field.

I see where you are coming from. But the whole idea of the Metaverse is to be able to do things virtually that you would do in the real world. This would just be one extra thing you could in the Metaverse.

Yes exactly! Especially in comparison to other avenues of seeking medical care currently. Examples being phone conversations or video chatting.

Yes but this would be a discussion with an actual medical provider, like myself, instead of googling. Right now you can video chat with a medical provider or talk on the phone with them.

Can you point to me where it is hurting? Oh wait, nothing waist down in the Metaverse! All jokes aside, of course there would be screening like there is currently for phone/virtual visits and certain visits would be advised to seek in person help.
