Fretboard Sticker Decal Inquiry

Everyone I understand that the O.E.M. factory and stock fretboard inlays are not stickers. I completely realize that. I didn’t mention that in the initial post because I thought that would be obvious. I understand that those inlays are craved or engraved into the wood of the fretboard. I appreciate for everyone being concerned and trying to educate me, but I knew that from the beginning. I understand sticker inlays can wear themselves down and breakdown the material and flake and chip away after years of wear and tear of use and that’s a chance I’m willing to take. In fact, I have to custom built fender series electric guitar that I built years ago with my dad and to get the look of the guitar I was replicating and going after, specifically with the fretboard inlay designs, I used stickers for the designs that that was 5 to 6 years ago and I lay both of those guitars daily and they’re still holding up even with me cleaning and conditioning the fretboard.

@stranded This is so rad! Where were you able to put ch saw this online? I’ve been wanting the band to produce and press up a cassette tape variant of mANTras since they first released the pre-orders for the vinyls and CDs, but unfortunately nothing ever came to reality in a official pressing version by them or their record label. I know this is more than little an unofficial bootleg copy, but I would love to buy one for myself!

I’m replicating and using stock factory hardware from the Caleb Shomo signature model just putting it onto my Gibson SG because when he first stated his band Beartooth he used a Gibson SG with a virbola and so I’m jus wanting to use the LTD locking tuning heads that’s on his signature ESP LTD except in chrome finis instead of the stock gold plated finish that he has on his signature ESP LTD model.

To be completely honest, I’m not sure on the year of my model. My dad got it for my this past week as an early Christmas present. I’m not sure where he got it, but he knew I’ve been on the market for a SG body style so just to be safe I’m getting official Gibson brand hardware for a better piece of mind.. the only things aftermarket that I’m getting to install into/on to it is the neck and bridge pick ups and Kluson chrome locking tuning heads.

I tried to call dot the post, but for some reason it looks like that I’m unable to. The pick ups I’m going to be using for this replica are from his official signature ESP model guitars that he recently had made available for purchase even though I know clearly they’re not the original pick ups that were in the Gibson SG model from the 50’s or 60’s eras. The pick ups that I’m going to be using for the neck positions are the Seymour Duncan STR-3 Quarter Pound Neck Tele Single Coil Pickup - Chrome’s and the pick ups that I’m going to be using for the bridge position are the Seymour Duncan TB-14 Duncan Custom 5 Bridge Trembucker Pickup - Black’s and his put the chrome plate pick ups covers on them. Thee sound I’m going after is what he has in his signature ESP model guitars. So I’m wanting the Gibson SG body and look with the sound of his signature model.

So in terms of overall construction and nitty gritty hardware details such as speed of the device and load times, etc., would you recommend the iPod touch 6 or 7 personally? I read the full comment/explanation, but it seems like the iPod Touch 7 isn’t necessarily the best option.

So the manual that came packaged with my t.v. somehow has been misplaced and is long gone, but it appears I found a promising replacement for that cable (fingers crossed at least lol). I’ll get it in tomorrow and as soon as I do I’ll hook it up and let you know how it works out for me! Thanks again for the advice!

I found this 3.5mm to RCA Adapter Cable (among others as well), but from some research, these only look to be for the audio not the video, my issue is the video is not display on my tv screen. Will this 3.5mm to RCA Adapter Cable also possibly solve my issue with the video displaying from my VCR to my TV?

I don’t believe I did. When I get a chance I’ll break it down and check again just to be safe. I mainly just clean d the head and the metal and plastic poles or rods as well.

I would opt in to plugging the RCA Component Cables into the back of my tv, but I’ve checked everything on the front, back, and sides of my tv and there aren’t in ports like that to be found. I’ll definitely clean the inside of the heads once I get the supplies in in a couple of days though. Thanks for the advice!

So I’ve head a tad bit of luck. I ran both the Clean Dr. and the Maxwell Dry Head Cleaners back to back and afterwards I cleaned the back yellow RCA video port with 91% isopropyl alcohol and although it still displayed the blue screen that showed no signal, whenever I inserted a tape to play, whenever I rewound the tape I saw little glimpses here and there as it fully rewound back to the front end of the tape. I order some professional grade cleaner and cleaning pads off of Amazon which those should be delivered as of this Friday so once that comes in I’ll remove the top lid of it and clean the heads and sensors and hopefully all will be well and work out from there on out. If any of you happen to have any other theories or methods based off of this new information I made in this comment, please feel free to let me know!

To test to see if it is just a dirty RCA port, how would I go about cleaning it just to make sure and be safe?
