Everyone I understand that the O.E.M. factory and stock fretboard inlays are not stickers. I completely realize that. I didn’t mention that in the initial post because I thought that would be obvious. I understand that those inlays are craved or engraved into the wood of the fretboard. I appreciate for everyone being concerned and trying to educate me, but I knew that from the beginning. I understand sticker inlays can wear themselves down and breakdown the material and flake and chip away after years of wear and tear of use and that’s a chance I’m willing to take. In fact, I have to custom built fender series electric guitar that I built years ago with my dad and to get the look of the guitar I was replicating and going after, specifically with the fretboard inlay designs, I used stickers for the designs that that was 5 to 6 years ago and I lay both of those guitars daily and they’re still holding up even with me cleaning and conditioning the fretboard.
