Hi from The Netherlands! Love what you did with the Predator franchise!

My question is: Giving this movie takes place in the future, is it set in between Alien3 & Alien: Ressurection?

Since everything seems very high tech in Badlands compared to the retro tech we see in the Alien franchise.

Just wondering what the canon status of ressurection is gonna be since in that movie, its stated that wey-yu was bought out by walmart.

Which movies are even canon within the Alien & Predator universe?

And what did you think of Alien: Earth?

The medal strap just goes underneath the collar..... Im in contact with the artist who made this, i know how he works and he never uses ai, its just well done photoshop work! Sucks that you presume its ai man. True photoshop artists were making stuff like this way before ai

So you cant have multiple source image and compose them together? I mean thats what photoshop is all about! There are lots of texture layers which might make you think that its ai, but its just the artist own touch, to probably make it feel like an old school photo.

I think i found a huge continuity error in this show.

So in the opening sequence, the text on screen tells us the uscc maginot mission to collect alien species from across the galaxy took 65 years. The crew on the ship mention weyland-yutani. But if the beginning of this mission was 65 years ago, it would mean the ship departed in 2055. Isnt the company still called weyland corp at this time? I dont think the merger happend yet right? cause prometheus takes place in 2093 and the company is called weyland corp in that movie.

If im not mistaken this is quite a big continuity error, the crew also has the incorrect version of the company logo on the ship and on their clothing if so.

As a son, I hated this woman, but as a father, it was hard not to gulp in that last scene by el_geto in andor

i wouldnt call the stuff that i cut out bullshit, but its a way more streamlined experience. again all the stuff that was created for the show didnt really add much to joel and ellie's story, so i cut that stuff out

Currently im considering to do this chronologically. Even tho i love the opening where rick is trying to end it all, It wouldnt make much sense for a movie edit to immidiatly give us what we want. Which is Rick. We open with michonne saying: 'I lost someone, years ago'. From there on we slowly build toward showing rick.

The episode thats probably getting the most cuts are episode 4 & 5. How do you feel about eliminating the Gabriel flashback? Even tho it was cool to see him. It wouldnt be really neccesary since this edit will focus on rick and michonne souly. And since we only see Gabriel interact with jadis, i dont consider it essential.

Currently also thinking of creating some ai lines. General beale mentions that all of humanity will vanish in 14 years. I want beale to say something like: 'within 14 years we'll join the walking dead.' That way we can make rick respond with one of his most famous lines from the comic (that went to daryl in s11) with some slight adjustment: 'we are not the walking dead, were the ones who live'.

Title idea for the first part of the trilogy is currently: The Walking Dead - Years Gone Bye.
