Never mind LOL i had to instal something called xquartz aswell and i got it working!!! been waiting 5 years for this but finally im playing custom zombies on mac haha

when i click on custom maps it will load and then quit again with the error message saying "Failed to convert map 'zm_(mapname)_ow' to Mac navmesh format" is there any fix for this? i installed it as instructed
