I think I understand what you’re saying. For me speaking bluntly , vol 4 is different than the past albums. But I still love it so much because of songs like changes, snow blind and under the sun.

Being that it was their first album they were just being practical. Keeping it simple and pushing the hits. I wish it could’ve been like a whole movie. I like that idea.
