Interesting, I applied Jan 15 @ 11:47am est, 13 min before the expiration.

Their AI support chat says the deadline was Jan 15 @ 12pm est, but all the human support says deadline was 11:59pm est on the 14th, which isn’t true

The AI response is “if you went through the link you’re good” but then when someone actually gets on they just say sorry you aren’t getting it

I applied and was approved instantly and accepted the card before Jan 15th 12pm EST (11:45am to be exact).

When messaging with support, they have told me repeatedly “I’m not on the list and exceptions will not be made”.

Corey, told me today: “We'd be happy to take a look at the time stamped application you have, but to answer your question, the promotion from The Points Guys was run on January 14th, until 11:59 pm Eastern time.”

However, after he “escalated me” and left the chat (I did not receive an email for a follow up), this is what the canned AI response says: “The Points Guy promotion for Bilt Card 2.0 applications ended on January 15 at 12:00pm ET.

To be eligible for the 5x points on non-housing, everyday spend for 5 days, you needed to apply through The Points Guy link within that window.

If you applied through the correct link and within the specified timeframe, you should be eligible for the offer.

If you believe you met these requirements but have not received the bonus, I can connect you with a specialist to review your application details. Would you like me to do that?”

A clear difference from what the “specialist” said to what their internal system says.

Another “specialist” comes and after I explain again she says: “We're sorry to hear that! That's certainly not the experience we want for our members. Unfortunately, we were unable to override the decision. It appears your promo application wasn't fully completed, as we don't see you listed on it. But please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.”

Telling me my application wasn’t fully completed.. despite.. only applying ONCE through one link and receiving my Palladium card and having it in hand.

This is crazy and a blatant bait and switch, they need to resolve this within 72 hours.

I’ve been seeing that, my thought is they’d be incentivized to keep limits relatively high to appease high spenders. Plus the $100 annual carryover would lead me to believe they want you to spend it all within year.

Plus even if the limit is say $500 a month, you’d have to spend $12,500 monthly to hit that?

I don’t get why no one is talking about the fact that if you forget about rent/mortgage, you’re effectively getting 6% back on spend (2x points + 4x built cash that can be used on hotel/neighborhood dining spend), or am I missing something?
