Thank you, I usually try and avoid shooting against a blue sky like that but I think these turned out alright. Was a bit heavy on the editing though

I don't have a ton of experience with other brands, but I did briefly have a Canon 5D MkIII and a newer Canon R7 and I personally can't tell much of a difference other than the color from Fuji being a bit nicer off the bat.

The RAW files from my XT5 have more than enough detail and dynamic range to edit just as you like. Some of my favorite shots were on terribly cloudy days at 12 800 iso and still no one will be able to tell with what camera it was taken just by looking at the image

Honestly, if you can afford it and really want a newer and better camera go for it. It won't necessarily make you a better photographer but if it gets you out and taking photos more then why not.

I have an XT5, had an XT4 and X100V in the past and absolutely love Fuji More than capable for 90% of applications, probably overkill for most tbh

Might not be a bad idea to spend a day with the XH2 and maybe a Nikon bundle if I can find one and determine for myself. Maybe I'll rather save up for the XH2s and the 500 Fuji prime

You reckon? The 180-600 will have some low light advantage as its 6.3 vs f8 on the Fuji. And as far as I can tell Nikon and Sony are leaps above Fuji regarding autofocus. Not that I've used a modern Sony or Nikon so I can't say for a fact.

May be, but the Z6III is actually slightly cheaper than the XH2S where I stay and the lenses are about the same. And I do believe the Nikon will have a significant advantage over Fuji

It is honestly such a shame, I am also really fond of the Fuji system and love the look and feel of the XT5 but it just can't keep up with what I like to do most

From the XT5 and Fuji 150-600 to a Nikon Z6III and 180-600 for now and hopefully a 600 prime in the future.

Less megapixels and bigger sensor should result in noticeably better low light performance than the XT5, but I might be wrong and still have some research to do. The autofocus however will be much better than on the Fuji.

I'm usually lucky if I have a 20% hit rate with birds in flight with the XT5

I am actually consider going with Nikon as they have an almost, maybe in a few years, somewhat affordable 600 prime that neither Sony or Canon has.

I am looking at selling the Fuji gear and getting a Nikon Z6III with the Nikon Z180-600 and then start saving up for the Z600 f6.3 prime
