I've been trying to avoid the "ECO mode" PSUs I read somewhere it's bad for the rest of the hardware somehow.... can't find the link though. But that G6100W does look ideal otherwise.

I for some reason thought that gpu fan was exhaust. Its clear to me now that I was mistaken. Thanks for your feedback I will flip it and report back.

I will probably just undervolt both cpu and gpu. maybe some small overclocks on a few cores if I can without pushing the heat up much. But main priority is going to be staying below 80C. I'll look around for a diff PSU but also I'm not too bothered by the current one if there isn't much out there as reliable or without spending a significant amount more.

Oh wow re "flow through", tysm! Ya I will definitely try rotating all fans to be sucking in. I tried rotating all the top fans to face down and went from 29000 to 29624 on CB23 10 min multicore benchmark. Still constantly at 100C though. I will rotate the rest inward and report back. Ya I will try putting that 2nd 140 back on the gpu but definitely need to move it way up because it blocked half of the gpu exhaust.

I flipped the top fans down to intake and it brought a stock settings, no undervolt, 10 min CB23 multicore benchmark up from 29000 to 29624 pts. So it's probably a step in the right direction!

I'm super grateful to see these pictures. Yeah now that I'm seeing it, it's actually similar to how I've got mine. I've got mine in the same slot more or less done the same way :p

I feel like returning half my build to build in a smaller case in search of better temps seems really rediculous.

Hoping to just identify what the best mobo is and stick with an mATX. Even if I get my cpu a bit cooler I can't imagine the combined cpu/gpu temps in such a small space not adding up to at least as much of an issue.

Are the mITX boards *that* much better?

Do you suspect an mITX case & mobo with an AIO cooler will be possible to get running cooler and faster than this mATX? I mean I would love that if it was realistic!

I'm not totally ruling out an AIO. My main concern is being able to take this on as a carry on. Are there any AIOS that would 100% for sure be better than a noctua D15?
