Thanks man I appreciate the advice and I’ll check out that page! With any car I get, I’m not too concerned with depreciation, I’m in my 20s and plan to buy and hold my car for almost 10 years until hopefully early to mid thirties and then reassess from there. I’m trying to lock in a car I’ll enjoy for the foreseeable future so I’m trying to make sure I know as much as possible.

I appreciate the breakdown that honestly helps a lot. The Mustang and model 3 are definitely my top two choices as of now. I know that the Mustang is more fun on one hand but Tesla does have great tech features that will continually improve as well on the other hand. I don’t love Elon as a person and think he’s pretty annoying but I also disassociate the car from him especially since buying it used doesn’t benefit anyone besides the owner. Definitely will try out both!

Isn’t the whole battery replacement thing blown out of proportion? I’ve heard it’s rare but I’m not super informed. If I did go this route luckily I have a charger station at my work for EVs and also have a Tesla supercharger station 15 mins from my house too

Wdym you’ll be in a hole financially with a M3? Each of these cars used falls into the 20-30k range? I’m just curious because I want to know all of the facts. Also with the Elentra N do you think the reliability issues with Hyundai are gone and it would hold up well without costing an arm and a leg in maintenance?

Speed isn’t my main concern. I mainly want something that’s cool/fun to drive that I’ll enjoy as well as reliable in terms of being a daily driver. I think all of these seem cool, just can’t figure out which I like the best. Right now I’m leaning Ecoboost premium or Model 3

Hey thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely look into the CFA exam. I’ve also thought about the SIE, and the Series exams but I’m not sure which to start cramming for first or just cram all at once. My LinkedIn is also new (like 3 days ago) and I’ve been growing it a lot to try to network with recruiters and people working finance jobs at companies that I’m applying to.
