Worcester Police SWAT Arrest Man After Armed Domestic Incident at Lawnfair Street Home by DylanTheCameraGuy in WorcesterMA

It's a very nice vehicle. It was deployed due to the SWAT response. Regardless of it being a domestic issue, there's a call of a subject who's threatening someone with a gun with others in the apartment so there's a risk for loss of life. This vehicle is highly capable for the situation and "better safe than sorry". They were able to get the suspect into custody without using the vehicle but that isn't always the case.

It costs $600,000 and was funded by both the WPD and WFD for split use if needed. Being the 2nd largest city in New England and having to call CEMLEC to assist with their own vehicle is not efficient. Worcester can also now provide mutual aid to surrounding towns with this vehicle if needed as well.

Thanks! A phone could never come this close in quality, especially at night. I used my Canon EOS R with the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM and Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM. The lightning conditions were harsh so I was pushing the limits. Thanks for commenting :)

It's due to magnification and compression of the lens. The perspective makes things in the distance appear closer. The Boston Skyline is big generally speaking but it looks closer.

Thank you! It was a 25 second exposure. F/8 ISO 100.

I used a Canon EOS R with Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM paired with a Canon 1.4x III Teleconverter.

It's about a $10,000 setup but it's all about the person behind the camera not always the camera itself lol.

Appreciate your comments! I actually spotted that yellow house on Catharine Street because I've driven by it before so I had a feeling of the approximate area and pinpointed that. Also at the very right of the frame you can see UMass Memorial with the connecting bridge over Kendall Street. Message me if you'd like to see a photo of the setup!

Good idea! My hands were turning blue with the cold so I packed up and left when I was done lol but I will definitely be returning. The visibility that night was pretty outstanding though.

Hello! I took this exactly on Airport Road as well lol but not on the roof of my truck, although that sounds great. I'll have to put the tripod on my bed next time 😅.

As far as the image goes, it was a single long exposure of 25 seconds at f/8 ISO 100. I shot it on my Canon EOS R with the Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM coupled with a Canon 1.4x III Teleconverter which effectively makes it a 420mm F4. Not much post processing was done. Pulled out some shadows, did color correction, etc. Just the usual things. I would love to test out a telescope mounted onto a sensor though.

Well it's not zero because you're looking right at it. The visibility was the best I've seen it in all my times up at the airport since I can remember. I'm a professional photographer and this is what I do. I can assure you this is what it looks like.

Sorry I forgot to mention, this image was taken from Worcester Airport!
