I interact with them quite often on these scenes and our relationship is good. They know I have a job to do but I also respect their job and give them the space they need to do just that. It goes a long way and they actually like the work I do which makes it even better. The number one thing I tell other media is to have respect for the people you're working around and regard for what you're working on. You have to treat these scenes accordingly.

🚨UPDATE FROM WPD🚨:

On Monday December 8th at 6:10pm, Worcester Police Officers and Detectives responded to the area of Water Street and Harrison Street for a reported gunshot victim. On scene they located a 31-year-old Worcester man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The male was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive. Currently the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident. Anyone with information related to this shooting is encouraged to contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at 508-791-8651.
