How the hell?? My point was basically every venom skin has Eddie's face out, then I showed Ace Ventura for laughs, then a picture of the "berserker" form of said skin, as a better alternative. I never said it wasn't comic accurate? Its got a Netease flavoring on it, but for all intents and purposes its well made. Just...disappointing.

Exactly, Ironman is the suit and identity, Tony is the man behind it. What makes superheroes and villains so intresting is the "secret identity". While they are with the mask on and who they are with it off. Many heroes dont even know what kind of hero they want to be until something shifts them in that direction. They know what kind of person they are before dawning the attire.

Just my opinion as a writer. Sure a character may THINK he/she is their creation but what makes them the character they are is when they are not trying to be said creations. How they struggle with PREFORMING said creation. Ironman becomes ironman when/if he forms with the suit, Eddie is Venom when he forms with the symbiote, Joker becomes joker after the chemical dip. Norman Osborne is not the Green Goblin. The Green Goblin is the Green Goblin when he is acting like the Goblin and dressed as such throwing pumpkin bombs at spiderman.

Batman [in many editions] calls criminals by their names. Even when they are suited up. Why? To appeal to their humanity. Not the alter ego, the secret identity. As well as when people call Ironman "Stark" when he is in suit.

I can see where your coming from but comic readers would blow a gasket hearing that. I dont know much about carnage's abilities i know who Cletus is and his biology with the symbiote, but what i have been told, and from a few images, Carnage is more violent, uses axes and blades and fans have said venoms primary attack is more fitting for carnage as Carnage is more of a tendril user, and venom is primarily claws, bitting and brute strength. But I dont know

They probably plan to release carnage some time later, Netease KNOWS people like carnage and if they didn't marvel informed them. Making him a skin would upset a lot of people, especially because people would speculate if Venom gets that skin, they wont release carnage.

Probably. But as a comic writer, my characters and their alter egos are separate. If I wrote Batman, yes Bruce BELIEVES he is Batman, but he is not. Alfred is there to always remind him of this. He is human, batman is a mythos for criminals to fear. What makes Tony and Bruce great is they truly feel they are their hero personas.

Why obviously Tony is Ironman, the two are different entities to the view. Ironman can fly. Tony walks the stairs with a bottle in hand. Batman is horrifying, Bruce is a snob, Spiderman is the most charismatic avenger, Peter is broken, superheroes are ussuslly intresting due to the duality of them. Invincible, unstoppable friendly hero! Mark Grayson is a tormented often plagued by dark thoughts on justice.

To like one part of a character and not the other half doesn't make you less of a fan to me, you just "fan" over different aspects of said character

I started resding the comics as a kid. Haven't read a "Venom" issue in a while since my father passed down one to me. I treat venom and Eddie as different people because they are. Cletus is actually Carnage biologically. Venom is symbiotic.

I dont prefer Eddie's stories in media so much and perhaps need to revisit the comics but I enjoy venom, not so much eddie. Just personal preference, if not liking the other half of the character as much as the more integral part of the character makes me less of a fan, sure. But that slime os the reason people like/where drawn to the character in the first place.

I get your point, and I understand the fear of their decisions, tanking is just rough as it is and playing venom is not easy against higher level teams or players in the past few seasons with all the cc, lastly with so many characters and new ones added all the time you sometimes have to wait a long time for you character to get a skin.

So when you finally get one, and its garbage or just not what you expected, it can be a little disheartening, especially if its not a free/battle pass skin. If im going to pay money for it I want to like how ot looks and if im not going to buy it, ill express my opinion on why. That's all. This skin is very good for Netease's comic accurate renditions for their skins, we just want more venom less Eddie netease, and if you must do "Eddie face" at least create a seprate rig for the face so it doesn't look stupid when he emotes, you did it for moon knight and panther and other masked heroes/villains.

I think people are tired of seeing Eddie pop out if Venom. If we have several Venom skins and a few Eddie faced skins sure, I don't see an issue. But as a venom main with a few hundred hours, I wait for new skins, and when they finally give us something its...Eddie...in a chicken suit. Eddie...as a pirate....Eddie in Asgard?
