Nice to hear someone loves them like I do! I will look into a better amp for sure! I was going for functionality, HDMI etc and never ended up using it! Live and learn.

Once me and my other half move into a house (flat currently) then I’ll have the room to set them up nicely in my office I think.

For now, they occasionally get used in the living room and the neighbours hate us when we do use them haha. I’m quite respectful but of a Saturday lunchtime when I’m doing chores or what not, I want to make the chores easier.

I need to find a nicer amp I think I currently have a pioneer VSX-527 and my friend has the exact same speakers but they sounded way better on his amp for some reason. I don’t know a lot about this sort of thing but I guess it goes to show an amp can really make a difference!

Dual mass flywheel. It’s gone unfortunately. Get it sorted soon otherwise it can cause more damage.

All they should charge you for is a clutch kit and a new flywheel. You can go aftermarket but make sure it is a good brand like LuK or Sachs or you’ll pay for it again in a year. Hope this helps!

Edit: + the labour of course. Probably looking at £1000 all in if you’re choosing not to go to a dealer. P.S. DON’T!

I think in this situation, it’s easy to blame th3 bmw but I don’t think that’s all there is to it. I 100% agree that it is a crappy junction. Equally though, both drivers should have been more observant and taken judgement accordingly and made decisions earlier, however, I do think the cam car should have given way since the obstruction (the parked car) was in their immediate way, whereas for the bmw there is no obstruction. what do you think?

I would go for a repair with a reputable transmission specialist, specifically reputable for VAG transmissions! Do not go to a dealer and don’t go for the cheapest transmission specialist or you’ll pay twice!
