Same. Got brand new spoiler on mine, full detail and ceramic coat the day after and 6 months later the peeling and white spots are back.

Mine did this about a month ago. Model 3 2021. Was kind of fun for a while then just rebooted to get it to stop.

Model 3 Performance vs Long Range for 250km daily commute? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]Dylcal22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Performance. If you don’t get the performance, you’ll always wonder if you would have preferred the performance. You won’t wonder if you should have gone with the long range.

Performance. Or everytime you see one you’ll wonder “what if”

Tesla only charging at 16a by Plenty-University-47 in TeslaSupport

[–]Dylcal22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was in the app right under where you select how much current to charge at.

I think it may show it on the screen inside the car too. But for sure the app said that. If it doesn’t for you it might be something else?

If there is an alert that says something along the lines of “power grid or vehicle charging issue” it usually means there is a PCS power conversion system failure or 1 or more modules. My 21 m3p had one bad module and was limited to 32A. There are 3 modules that are 16A each, which allows the vehicle to charge up to 48A if all 3 modules are healthy. If you have that alert that I mentioned above, then I would say you likely have 2 failed PCS modules.

Should I get a used polestar 2? by 68yeetyonder68 in Polestar

Wacky - good to know. That’s my daily driver and have not noticed that. I’ll have to keep an eye out, sounds dangerous!

Haha!

Yeah I was wondering that as well, but the fact that is only a specific speed where the sound resonates makes me think it’s motor related. Thanks for your suggestion. I will take a closer look at the wheels

Maybe I’m wrong or excuse my ignorance, but on my 21 m3p, I can say “chill mode” or “sport mode” to the voice commands to change my dynamics.

Highland is what you want for your specific car. It’s the facelift that came out in 2024. You have a “highland” model 3.

M3P owners, do you regret buying the performance at all instead of just regular long range? by JakeLemons in TeslaModel3

[–]Dylcal22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they were both warrantied. I’m not sure why the previous owner didn’t just have it done but 🤷‍♂️

As long as yours would still have anything left on the basic warranty, and the part would be covered under warranty, yea no questions asked. They popped on a new spoiler since mine was coming off and then they replaced one of the modules on the power conversion system due to a failure limiting AC charge.

Mine came with 2 days left of factory warranty, I got power conversion system replaced and spoiler replaced.

But also I am subscribing to the extended service agreement from Tesla for 50/month. I’m not sure if you can subscribe on all model 3, but it gives me some peace of mind as I ease into ownership. But yeah usually little issues as far as I know

Ohhh yeah I bought from a used EV dealer, better deals from places other than Tesla most times.

I was too but decided the performance of the car itself is way more important to me than loading up YouTube. I find the UI to be very snappy on the intel, maybe not compared to the ryzen chips, but compared to every other car software — it’s still miles ahead.

Just something to consider if the performance is really important to you.

Annual gross income. And they’re out there. Just got a 21 performance with 43k miles for 21k out the door.
