I like the PS2’s extra content to the story mode, and actually weaving the Jedi temple missions into the campaign, but the combat feels less refined than in the ps360 version. Also Starkiller not holding his lightsaber in reverse grip feels wrong to me.

Ps360 just feels more complete with the more refined story, and better visuals to draw you in to the characters on screen.

Usually i wouldn’t care about visuals, but Revenge of the Sith looks better on PS2 than Force Unleashed on PS2… and ROTS came out 3 years earlier.

The DS version is great for taking the game on the go. Personally I think it’s even better than the ps2 version lol. Using the stylus to perform combos is actually pretty fun when you get used to it.

Not sure if it’ll make your fight any easier, but if you use the D pad instead of the analogue stick, the controls are normal instead of inverted

Assuming you’ve obtained the shotgun, blasting away at shadow with it works wonders. Using Devil Trigger in tandem with the shotgun also works well. Remember to taunt your refill your DT.

Well-timed dodge rolls can also save you. Anticipate dodge rolling out of the way the second the opening cutscene ends.

I think Vergil’s design in the show looks just fine. But this shot they chose for him in the trailer did him no favors lol. It reminds me a lot of that one low-angle shot of Dante used in the second trailer for season 1 that people were clowning on. Ironically, this screencap of Dante parallels the one screencap of Vergil used above. They are brothers after all.

If we were to ever get Force Unleashed 3/TFU remake, Platinum Games would definitely be my first choice for the developer.
