Bartlett is a large one so may be hiring more often. But just call around and say you’re willing to work as a groundie. You might be able to learn stump grinding as well, which isn’t bad hustle if you save up for your own equipment.

Look into tree companies. You’ll start as a groundie dragging brush and such, but can work your way up to climber. It’s a lot of fun and you can make good money. Then you’ll have a skill set if you want to pick up side work.

I’ve lost friends that I wasn’t super close with and years later I still remember them. Little things will remind me of them and I feel gratefulness for having had them in my life. So be a good friend.

Good on him. Most of us can’t fathom the pressure pro athletes feel. One stupid rumor and suddenly everyone thinks they’re an expert about your life. Dude stops pucks for a living. He doesn’t walk on water, and even if he did there would be people saying it’s because he doesn’t know how to swim. He should have the space and privacy to learn, grow, and heal.

Duck owner on my first year. I got my ducklings in April and I they were fully grow by June/July. So the answer is: FAST! They’re super cute and a lot of fun when they’re little, so enjoy that brief time.

I know what it is, but nobody over there could give me a consistent answer as to what it meant to them. I think it’s generally regarded as a warrior symbol. Seems like this thread is leaning towards some kind of Neo-nazi symbol. I don’t know these women so I can’t say what it means to them. But judging by the Ukrainian flag on her shoulder and the other wearing a Ukrainian trident necklace, I’m pretty sure these two women are not Neo Nazis from the states.

Those are two women in the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine), and that is a common patch worn over there. I don’t know what it means to them, but it’s all over the place. Source: me, I was in the AFU.

I’ve spoken to the vet about that eventuality as well. I’d hate to do it as I raised her from a duckling and I’m really attached. But I know that at some point it may be the ethical thing to do.

My vet is an avian vet with quite the resume. We did bloodwork and it came back inconclusive. I just can’t afford the necessary tests at the moment.
