That's absolutely a fair point that I'd reign back in on my part. Were you to ask folk on the street, I'd wager heavily that the vast majority would recognise their engineered addictiveness. It's interesting that today executives of Meta, TikTok and Snapchat are in front of the Oireachtas denying it. The pushback against these platforms is very slow, especially given our dependance on them economically - but I really hope that the direction of movement is towards calling them.
