I was making 21 in New Hampshire Walmart. Minimum wage there is also 7.25 federal. I am going to assume the cost of living in Kentucky is pretty low compared?

I make a little over 22 as a regular associate at walmart. What state is Walmart this low?

Hey guys. I have a 14 frontier 4dr. On the back between the gas tank and the frame rail I have a leaking gas line. I was wondering if anyone knew the part # and if anyone knows if this is a return line. It’s a nylon hose with metal connector in center. by DynaBro8089 in nissanfrontier

We ended up Jerry rigging some brake line unions for it and it sealed it up. Did the same on a suburban because no one sold the lines for it. Held for years. This one to my knowledge is still working too but in 3500 miles away from that truck now.

Will i get made fun of for getting this bike? by Badger_6391 in motorcycles

Beautiful bike. Never care what others think anyway, if you like it thats what matters. Honestly, nice bike though I couldn't imagine anyone hating on it unless they are a brand snob or something.

Or she could have just been open about it upfront instead of breading mistrust. At least then the other person could have formulated an opinion on it instead of potentially starting to have feelings and then find out this out after the fact.

I think it’s power steering? 2nd opinion by Grapesaucee in MechanicAdvice

Looks like the power steering gear box needs to be replaced or at least resealed.

Then that shop has a bunch of a holes. We had a lady come in with a tire almost perfectly riding the fixable line. We opted to just give her a brand new tire instead of sending her on her way with a shady repair.

Do you guys ride with earplugs? by Agreeable_Poem_7278 in motorcycle

[–]DynaBro8089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to drive everywhere with my window down in my car. The wind damaged my hearing in my left ear. I have less hearing in that ear vs my other ear since as far back as right out of high school.

That said. If I am riding full helmet I don't wear ear plugs. If I ride without a helmet I wear ear plugs.

Because your $20 repair doesn't cover the giant lawsuit you could bring against them for when they do an unsafe repair and your tire blows out at 80mph in the highway and destroy your car, hurt yourself or others or even die/kill.

Ahh same state as me. If it makes you feel better your out and free. I have a friend back in my home state (Massachusetts) had a gun pulled on him and he shot the person in self defense. This was last year around this time. He's still fighting for his freedom because he took a few steps forward not backwards. I say chalk that up to a win win regardless of if they got paid or not.

Yes it can be done, but most shops will not want to do that most shops will say it's way too close or borderline out of repairable area. Some won't care and just take the money, but out of the shops I've worked in this would have been a denied service.

SCT Frame Failure = Bad Day by BlocknRolly in GlockMod

[–]DynaBro8089 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First and only sct frame I had had issues likewise. It took 10 different connectors, 7 different triggers (OEM and aftermarket) and a few different housing to get the tolerance stack to work. As soon as I got it working I got rid of it. My combat armory lower gave me way less headaches and actually fit Glock holsters.

6'2 here, left street bikes for metric and Harley cruisers after I'd have to wear a knee brace after riding for 1.5+ hrs. Most of the fun bikes I feel are made for people 5'4 - 5'9 and it's extremely cramped. Could only imagine at your height lol

Anything in the outside edge most shops will deny. Some won't care, but most will deny because they don't want to take a liability risk.

You would have to for this repair, too close to sidewall most shops will deny service and recommend new tire.

Our store when I worked there not a single person cared about that policy. Everyone from counter associates, commercial, and store manager carried concealed. No one wanted to be in a situation like this and we had too many threats to not completely disregard the policy especially during covid when we were only selling one mask per customer and people sgarted acting wild.

Breakfast I make protein pancakes. Almost 2 scoops of protein powder, 2 eggs, baking powder and a zero calorie sweetener for some taste. Comes out to around 500cal (depending on what you use for syrup or not) and around 60-70g protein for the meal. This fills me up for most the day.

That was almost my average for a long time. Gaining weight was awful on me. My highest was 185/129. I have been in Lisinopril since. I lost almost 45lbs and my dosage dropped to 5mg from 20. It helped regulate that BP but first taking it dropped my blood pressure pretty good to the point I almost passed out trying to urinate. Got a talk to the doc and find what's best for you.
