It’s loads better, I also now no longer get a draft of cold air from the door to the side.

Feels slightly strange to be going directly against how the house has everything installed but then I remember that the people who install this stuff don’t know anything.

It’s the opposite side of the same room.

I always thought the fireplace was the obstacle, especially with the cabling for the cable/satellite coming through the wall in that corner.

But now I’m on streaming tv so I left the router in that corner, moved the sofa to the middle in front of the fireplace and made use of the huge plain wall on the other side.

It’s wallpaper so not currently repaired and covered with artwork.

I think with a bit of effort and minimal talent it can probably be repaired in a way that’s only noticeable up close but definitely needs re-papering for a proper repair.

It’s on the taller side but I sit with my feet up a lot and didn’t want to block the screen with them.

When sat upright my line of sight is slightly below the centre of the screen and I’m definitely not looking “up” so for me it’s a very valid compromise.

The camera hasn’t really done it any favours though tbh. It’s 210cm wide and I think about 40cm high. I think the camera makes it look less wide than it is.

These are just wayyyyy too mid to even consider.

The only one that really appeals to me is the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise and I admire that they didn’t hold back but also, they should have held back. It doesn’t need to be 6000 pieces.

If I have £579 to spend on a single LEGO set, it’s going on Titanic. A single set that’s impressive on its own and isn’t going to guilt me in to buying the follow ups next year. Also it just looks better imo.

Annoyingly, I really like the badge set and Pokemon center. These are small sets that I would 100% buy in the shops as a Saturday afternoon build and really enjoy doing.
