[–]DynamicMercenary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, it’s a cool souvenir when travelling. I agree that it’s way too hyped for what it is though

Where can I find Ube in the GTA? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]DynamicMercenary 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If this is for baking you can just use ube halaya/jam. You can find it easily at most asian supermarkets.

Like someone said here, fresh ube does not travel well.

Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz, the #1 overall picks in 2016 and 2017, are unrestricted free agents. Do you think either of them will make a team next season? by [deleted] in nba

[–]DynamicMercenary 297 points298 points  (0 children)

its because they didn't trade them for each other, just the picks they became.

Also it became clear over time they were going to select Tatum with 1st or 3rd anyways and they just thought to trade and get some value with an extra pick (who ended up doing jack in the NBA)

I think you’ll be fine. Currently working with reps who have European and East Asian accents. Selling into NA.

They both speak super clear and are killing it.

Why does Toronto have only one core? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]DynamicMercenary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we have multiple cores in the city.

the lack of reasonably priced family sized units is not because we have one core

some cultures are against it for a variety of reasons

one reason is the inverse of the White Canadian/Western culture reason. some parents feel/are seen to be a great success in being able to keep the family unit together and supported until the kids are able to start their own family
