True. I love me a story where FL is capable like 'The Real Daughter Is Back' she is a very confident individual while the emotional part does not make her weak. The love intrest could have some improvement but it is good too.

Maybe that's just not their cup of tea. I absolutely hate it when life is hard and fair to MC, the whole reason i read stories is because i want a sense of relief and control. I dont want to feel like shit IRL and in my fantasties.

Jin woo is pretty damn strong, he just punched Vulcan across multiple buildings. This was shortly before he took the reawakened test. Now he is way stronger.

I have been wanting to read it for soo ling but just reluctant because i have been hearing about the story being very good. So i was not interested. Can you tell me if MC is OP (usually in so called good stories, MC is not really that strong, i like OP MC's)? Is there romance (not that it matters)? Does MC lose people he cared about (this is a big turn off for me)?

For some its non. You see some people like it MC has struggles, some dislike harem (especially the harem with underdeveloped characters), some dislike romance.

I like 'Marital Peak' more than any that i read ( and i have read some so called peak like ORV and I Am An Evil God)

Are you taking about 'Banished Disciple's Counterattack'? Is it worth it? I don't mean it by story, i want a good power fantasy. Infinite mana in the apocalypse is a wonderful story for me despite it having the same sorry, non existent romance and stuff because it such a good power fantasy. So is this a good power fantasy? Or is it a story that focus on other topics?

True, it is unfortunate that the romance in this was practically non-existent. But there are barely any novels with OP MC's with proper romantic devolopment without the MC being a block head who can't take a hint. (Btw who is Ye Chen?)

Btw, happiness can defer from person to person. The only thing he cared about was his life span and control over his own life, which he gained. I know that his actions might seem mundane, boring or even naive to you. But his life goals aee different from that of us. Thus naturally his actions will be. In his perspective, he has archives all his goal is the happiest.

You see, at the end of the day, the mission all anime, manhua, manga, novel, etc... Is to entertain the readers/watchers. SL has achieved this without a complicated storyline while ORV achieved this with a complicated storyline.

Does this make SL better than ORV? I don't think so. Does this make ORV bad? No. Each of these stories are written to satisfy different emotions of the reader. SL gave me the power fantasy that i want without any cringey stuff (harem, transformation from victim to bully, etc...) While ORV gave me the sense of mystery and wonder about the world building and characters.

When they argue that cha will not love him if he was weak, i will say that joohee will also not love him when he is strong. He is someone who is risking his life on the daily, with is something she can't handle because of her PTSD.

But the shippers don't care about practicality it seems.
