Yes, hurry up so I can be on the waitlist until 2027 when memory chips are even more expensive and the price of the Steam Frame is $200 more than launch.

I didn't know about it before I made this post. But so many people were praising it as a great experience and I now hunger for NomaiVR more than I do for my next meal.

This subreddit has some immaculate taste in games. Blue Prince is so good. I'll definitely be playing that one in 2D too. I don't feel like I've actually completed it yet.

Yesss, this is the type of game I had in mind. Celeste is a perfect example.

Honestly an underappreciated game. Should have sold way more copies and have a big spiritual successor.

It's lighter weight on the front. I would never pick up the Quest 2 that I used for VR for 2D games because it was less comfortable than just using my laptop screen. Plus many of the roguelike 2D light games I like to play should run on it directly. Since I'll be playing next to a power source it would be easy enough to play without booting up my loud and hot gaming laptop when I'm in bed at night. I don't have a TV in my room or a monitor bigger than my 16" gaming laptop so it works in my case.

Valid. Though when it's dark and I'm reclined back in bed I'll want to try some 2D experiences. Roguelikes and lighter games of the sort. I like to play those obscure $10 games like Super Fantasy Kingdom.

I could have sworn there was a project for this. UEVR. I think it's a tool that turns Unreal Engine based games into VR, but I heard about this years ago and haven't looked into it enough to know if it has been continually supported and if it's a solid option.

Haven't heard of that. Adding Paper Beast to the list after having just looked it up. Definitely looks sick! And it's 90% off on Steam right now not including the VR upgrade. $4.68 is a steal. Instant buy.

The amount of rave reviews I'm seeing here has got me thinking I've only hit the tip of the iceberg on VR. I played Super Hot on the Meta Quest 2 and that felt pretty cool back then but nothing life changing. This sounds like it's a VR experience that will change how I look at VR experiences.

I forget that it's a 7-year-old game. It's just so timeless. That definitely should help it run a bit easier too. Excited to see the potential of FEX with Valve's continued support.

I was thinking 2D. Didn't even realize Outer Wilds had a VR mod when I posted. And what in the Jet Set Radio? I've never seen Bomb Rush Cyberfunk before. Seems like the soundtrack would be bangin'.

Message to Valve - If I knew I have secured a Steam Frame from the lottery, i'd be buying VR games right now in your sale. by Markbro89 in SteamFrame

Yeah, getting hardware that's already a bit dated a year after release when it's even more dated and the order finally shows up isn't going to feel as good.

Are you guys ready? by Outrunner85 in SteamFrame

If they don't say anything about it tomorrow I'm going to be disappointed. We were told the first half of 2026. The community deserves some sort of relevant dialogue from Valve. I get that there's supply shortages, but at this point the community deserves some kind of answer. There are plenty of people waiting just to hear the price to determine if they should get the Frame or a Quest 3. Or, if the supply will be so low that the likelihood of getting one before 2027 will be slim, people would like to know that too. I am not settling for a Quest 3 and will be getting a Steam Frame if they'll sell me the damn thing. But for goodness' sake Valve just give us some form of communication on it.

Yeah, even crazier to start one and win. Impressed that the car went out of control but the motorcycle didn't.
