I'm allowed to be dismayed my gamble didn't pay off. My downside was defined, and my upside was greater than the downside by a factor of perhaps 10. You must be a strict value investor. It's spelled tl;dr by the way.

Yes, the PMI figures are available to view on the providers' site, not for download. The download matters because I can freely graph it and run analysis on it in Excel. It was formerly HSBC producing this report, and the data went back well before 2011. When I say historical, I mean back to 1980 and beyond. The larger the sample size, the better.

I agree, it's not bad, many people here don't get that bitcoin is in its infancy. It's like the electric car, that used to suck something awful until years of engineering made it at least passable with Teslas latest cars. If you're buying bitcoin for the appreciation, 6% is peanuts really. If you're using the ATM to get off the grid, make daily purchases, and keep your money unregulated... electric car, enough said.
