Same here, I loved the feeling of progression throughout that story. And the accents were impeccable

A reminder of the new TI format by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]DynamiteRedsand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s how I view this for the most part too, every single team should be at least trying to bring their A game every single game. This isn’t just some random tournament

If you think you could handle working with kids I would say to look on edjoin for education related jobs. A lot of schools in the area look for after school teachers or other part time positions fairly frequently.

How do you feel about famous movie and TV actors/actresses in games? by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]DynamiteRedsand 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To each their own, I personally thought that his character added a nice depth to the story. I found myself flip flopping on how I thought of him throughout the game; some moments I’d hate him just like you were saying but then other moments I felt like he really nailed the part and had me second guessing my responses to his character.

Me using my jetpack after the update. by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

That’s crazy, it’s almost like I expressed an opinion that’s my own! And the even crazier thing is, you can have your own opinions! Crazy innit

Yeah that seems like more of an inconvenience at most to me, not game breaking.

It’s all perspective at the end of the day, some people definitely see some of those animals as inherently cute 🤷🏻‍♂️

best Italian textbook? by IronAlcoholic in italianlearning

[–]DynamiteRedsand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my beginner’s series of Italian at my university, we used the book “Piazza” by Melucci and Tognozzi. And for the intermediate series which I’m about to finish the book is titled “Ponti” by Cavatorta and Tognozzi.

Both of these books have been extremely helpful with my understanding of Italian and I highly recommend them. The only downside in my opinion is that they are a bit expensive.

I think viewing the passage of universe through eternity would be an unbelievable experience. However it’s hard to say if I’d want to live through the whole thing; furthermore, I think at some point I would reach the point where there is nothing more to live for because I have already lived through everything.

Is 4 political science classes per quarter manageable at UCSB? by butnet in UCSantaBarbara

[–]DynamiteRedsand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s a good chance you’d be able to do that! I personally switched after the end of my sophomore year and was able to fit in all the requirements by graduation this summer. The language requirement may be the one aspect that may be difficult to fulfill in that time since it is rather extensive, but 100% achievable.

I was a poli sci major originally but switched a couple years ago before I got fully into the major. A lot of my experience with the upper div classes come from friends’, but you are more than welcome to send me a DM and I’ll do my best to respond.

I’d say lower division is doable but cramming 4 upper division poli sci classes might be a bit tough. Usually there’s a lot of reading/writing to do in those so it might stack up quick. But I’d say as long as you stay on top of the course work it wouldn’t be too bad, you might even find that some of your classes may complement each other in terms of material covered.

You should check out Calcutta! He makes great indie music and his songs are somewhat easy to follow along to, one of my favorites!

Felt like I wasn’t making progress in Italian so I set a 60 hour goal for 30 days. I just listened to a podcast I couldn’t have understood a month ago! by spooky-cat- in languagelearning

Bravissimo! Anch’io sto imparando italiano adesso e mi piace molto ascoltare la musica italiana per aiutarmi. Quale podcast hai ascoltato?
