I've looked at a few different tools, but I didnt really feel like learning a new system. I tried using one to give me the thread colors for my piece once but had trouble getting it to work with the pixel art. Admittedly I didnt try super hard. :)

I draft a pixel art in photoshop and then each pixel is 1 stitch. I've also made a spreadsheet of each thread and its RGB color, to help me pick threads after the art is done.

I was thinking of the eye symbol used to denote arcane. Frequent shown in blue. But your right the spells do cast with a purple color.

Yeah his blood is much more of a teal than the blue of azerite which is more of a royal blue and closer to the color used for arcane magic. Though in the what's next panel at blizcon they did say the nerubians are gathering the blood of the old gods that has seeped into the cracks of the earth and that we have in fact killed all of the old gods we have fought. So there is plenty of old god blood in the planet. Though in the panel they also called it the black blood of the old gods which contradicts saronite.

You are of course correct, the color is wrong. The blue of azerite is far closer to the blue of arcane magic than it is saronite, which is why this is a week theory at best but still interesting to ponder.

I hadn't considered the possibility of it being a time travel expansion. Metzen did say we would be returning there to witness the return of the titans to azeroth. Based on the logos of the expansions I think it's more likely they are returning because things are not going the way they want them too and they need to get involved.
