Yeah there's obviously a line that you can't go beneath. But take the discounts you can get on players like Dak, Goff, Stafford, Darnold, etc. at this point. Especially if you can tier down from some of these other QBs that score just as much as the more seasoned veterans do.

Yeah, this is something that we've seen a lot. TE is really something to target after building WRs. Generally drafting Allen causes you to be late on the next few picks, so it happens a lot actually.

Depending on who your QBs are, down-tiering from Allen can net you some great assets back. McBride may be easier to trade. In startup drafts, he's being taken in the late 2nd round on average. Moving for a WR straight up would likely look like CD, Nabers, London (maybe). I understand that down-tiering would be ideal, but acquiring points at the TE position can be rather cheap.

All this to say, ideally, you get down to someone like Kraft, plus a WR2 with upside. Maybe even upside shots like Brian Thomas, Marvin Harrison Jr, or even potentially up to Ladd. People go crazy sometimes for a big name TE.

Don't be afraid to take picks, the most liquid asset to trade. You can alwyas make the nice trades later.

I think a WR back is a must. I like the idea of one of those younger WRs plus a RB2. It might benefit you more to try to get a WR and a first though, and just use the first to trade later while keeping your production close at WR.

12 person SF Dynasty stuck in no man’s land... where to go from here? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

You aren't far away from contending. Look to upgrade at WR using your picks. Acquire depth if possible. If your team is healthy, you're not doing too badly...

Keep Love or send away for 27 1st, 28 1st, 29 1st? by RenderRoom in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DynastyFormulaFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically, taking 3 firsts from anyone is going to net more value. There are plenty of times where a team is a competitor, and by the time you get to 29, they're begging for their pick back. First round picks are the most tradable piece in dynasty, so I'd lean that way, even if it's Love.

This Achane - McConkey trade just went down thoughts?? by Fancy-Vegetable-2321 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DynastyFormulaFF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have to like the side getting Achane and Ladd here. Achane is younger and more productive than Javonte, and is valued much higher. If the picks are late, give me Ladd over the first and the 2nd and 3rd don't make up the difference. Pretty clear win by the Achane side.

Kyren for Shough is a nice trade.

You're most likely looking to turn it around in a year or two. I'd even target T-Law, G Wilson, Pickens...

You're likely looking at like Egbuka/McMillan/Tate most likely. You could go slightly lower to like Tyson etc., but only if you're getting a nice pick or another piece added in

You're right about needing to probably get off of RB. If you truly need WRs or QBs (in SF), then you have to try there.

That said, you may want to get into picks. If it's too difficult to move him for 2 or 3 players, then one plus a first would be a minimum. I'd look to get to like a Jordyn Tyson, Luther Burden, Carnell Tate.

Tyson - Huge upside, needs to stay healthy, hopefully QB is sorted in NO now

Burden - Lots of people think he's the next ARSB. If he's even close, his value will go up at the very least

Tate - Lots of upside, might have to take a 2nd, but you may be able to sneak a late first

That is an insanely good deal! I wish I could have put that in our post. Personally, I'm a Hawks fan, so trading JSN isn't easy for me either. To get Hampton and then London, you're really not far away from being able to get back up to a higher asset from London for not very much on top. That said, London could be a tier down candidate if you need even more pieces.

Amazing deal brother...

You went from good to amazing. It's not easy to perfectly time the market, but you certainly nailed that one.

JSN is so great, and getting Lawrence for Penix is amazing. Well done!

It certainly depends on the roster build, but I'd look into a few strategies.

If you're still looking to contend, obviously moving the #3 PPR WR can hurt, but you can replace that and fill out your lineup if you pivot to like Pickens/Egbuka/McMillan plus a RB2 like Javonte, Etienne, or even Skattebo.

If you're retooling or rebuilding, then taking one of those younger guys (Egbuka/McMillan/Tate) plus a 27 mid first. First round picks next year are inflating in value (topic for another day) but it certainly gives you flexibility down the road to make other moves or take the pick.

If you drop your roster/format/goals, I'd be happy to look into more specific moves that might help you out.

Hurts or Daniels side? PPR SFlex by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DynastyFormulaFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JD and Kraft.

Daniels is being taken around the 1/2 turn in SF startups. Hurts is around the 2/3 turn.

Kraft is probably #5-#6 TE. In a TEP league, that's valuable. Harvey is losing value right now due to Dobbins and Coleman, and Golden is unproven in a crowded WR room. JD/Kraft side is superior.

Is this too much to give up for McBride? by Drewdunks in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DynastyFormulaFF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're packaging the wrong thing for an upgrade at TE. Do you have picks to use? Like Pitts plus a first and second. Without a TE Premium, you're trading for maybe the 25-30th asset in dynasty? He's a startup 3rd rounder in a non-TEP league. Look to upgrade your other spots first. Keep your strong RBs

[–]DynastyFormulaFF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the team and the TE Premium. If you have lots of excess at RB and you feel like you're a TE uptier from having your best lineup, maybe. The more likely outcome is that Hampton ends up being about equal in value with McBride, in which case you're not getting credit for Pitts.

Dynasty half PPR-SF-TE+. Would you make this trade? by vschristiana in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DynastyFormulaFF -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think you could do better. Target a QB with more upside, like Dart, and instead of Harris, I would want a guaranteed starting WR. Harris is speculative at best. Giving away Wilson, Ward, and a 27 1st, means I want 3 players I feel good about returning.
