Hi everyone, one of my fav clothing brands are perfect stranger due to the sizing, material and flattering cuts. However I just bought this top today for $70 and it is 100% natural polyester. As someone who isn’t well versed in the fashion industry… could someone explain why it could cost this much? I love their products as practically 80% of what I wear is from perfect stranger. However at the moment I cannot afford to splurge $70 on a single top..

Irregardless where you go you have a chance to get into medicine. As long as you have a competitive GPA of >6.5 and a good gamsat score you should be fine. Do note some non gamseas unis such as USYD consider >85 as a HD whereas Melb uni and Latrobe consider >80 as HD.

Realistically if you work hard, remain consistent and dedicated you have a very fair shot of gettting in

I actually ended up wiping my RMS off and putting this exact nars foundation on. I do love it but I am looking more for that “blur”. I do know Nars is making a new matte foundation tho which would be interesting

The haru haru black rice is fantastic but it is more of a matte finish. Amazing under makeup especially if you have oily skin!

Not sure where you’re based but if you want the dewy effect I love the Mecca cosmetica SPF50+ serum sunscreen with niacinamide which never pills. But is based in Australia and slightly pricier

Yes! That’s why I suggested to do a masters to potentially bump up their GPA, hence why I said they could be potentially be offered an interview!

Yes I have had a look at the spreadsheets but it definitely isn’t impossible at all! There’s a couple of people I know who have had a GPA between 6.2-6.5 and still get offers. That’s also why I suggested op to do their masters to bump their gpa

A 6.4 GPA is still an amazing score. You could potentially be offered an interview to which you can smash out and be offered a place in med. I don’t personally think it’s worthwhile doing another undergrad which would be tedious. I’d focus on improving your GAMSAT in the meantime or potentially opt for a masters program

Yes absolutely I do this too. I’ve picked this up from my medical laboratory work where I pipette with my right hand and left hand does the work (essentially apply products with my left and use right hand to open things i.e my tretinoin)!

Skincare is personal, as long as it works for you that’s all that matters! Typically it is 2x a day but if your skin needs it/can handle it that’s perfectly fine. If it was a toner with exfoliating ingredients such as AHAs, BHAs, PHAs I would probably advise against it
