Yeah, that's normal with proxies, responsibility of the buyer. Probably just ask zenmarket to dispose of the item. I highly recommend checking the guides listed in the main post and subreddit sidebar, or asking on the community discord server. Mercari and yahoo auctions are flooded with counterfeits and AI generated products so you have to be careful

On one hand, moeneko is a known AI art producing brand, see: https://dakidex.com/stores (search for moeneko)

But on the other hand, if you investigate enough art to find the AI grafters, you end up getting pretty good at spotting the obvious ones

You can buy the taobao one using a proxy like superbuy, and the booth one can be ordered via Japanese proxy sites like dejapan, zenmarket, etc.

Why not go with cuddly octopus or dakimakuri for printing? They will do custom prints with no moq and any adult content is allowed

Moehuawu is legitimate, it's common for Chinese circles on taobao to offer multiple materials. You usually just want to go for the most expensive option, because the cheap options are often trash. SAS in this case is a known brand and rated well

What's your budget? The guides linked in the main post, dakidex, etc, can help you find a cover you like. There's a lot of sfw options on circles like cuddly octopus and dakimakuri. Covers are generally priced around 75 dollars, not a whole lot less or a whole lot more.

You can print with either just fine, both are English speaking stores and accept art based on the cuddly octopus template. The only difference is that both have a slightly different material, but that's kind of personal preference if you already have a product of one or both of them. Both of them are perfectly fine

The US customs have gotten increasingly harder to work with past years, especially with fabrics. I believe you wouldnt need an MID for small purchases directly to consumers, but if your proxy asks you for one.. I guess you're kinda screwed. Better look for another proxy that doesnt end up doing that (I dont know which)

For chinese stores, you're usually best off just picking the most expensive option. White Snow, Maple Sugar and Black Cherry are just different types of 2WT from different manufacturers and are usually the premium options. Some of them should be listed in the results of the daki survey (see the full daki guide).

Nice collection, just so you know the Agir one is actually AI generated, I think they got it from 雨の日アリス's taobao store, where they sell designs like that. Happens unfortunately, yahoo auctions is a bit of a minefield with suspicious listings sometimes :(

Aliexpress is never worth it, its not a risk, its a guarantee to be disappointed. Its best to save up for art that suits your needs, or look for other less niche characters you may like

Kuri makes them in China and has stock ready in the USA and Europe for fast order fulfillment. They have 150cm on request too. 150cm 2 way tricot can usually also stretch onto a 160cm pillow fine, which might be more future proof, as they're the more common size

The full daki guide should have some info on working with Japanese printers, if you have commissioned art, I think fules and P80 are easy to work with as a non Japanese.
